thats why ff5 and the fftactic games have a slot system :O
you can master evry class and learn the skills but you can only use a fixed
ammount at the same time by placing one of the skills in a slot.
i love squaresoft for that system

Goddammit i just spent a half a goddamn hour writing that post! All for a percentage sign?!

Well crap. Okay, here's the jist of it:
Play FF5. Or tactics.
FF5 worked that each class got an Action Command like W. Magic, and a bunch of passive commands like MP+30PERCENT.
Each class also had one Open Slot that they could use One other class' command in.
[then there was the Suppin class which had all the passive commands plus 3 slots for active, but you probably don't want dino-riding heavy-weapon heavy-armor lightning-fast medics on your sever]

If you do that in this, you'll need to work out like Barbarians start with the Berzerk (Melee barrage) command in the S slot and can use the locked Speed +1, Speed +2, HP+10PERCENT, and Light Armor commands, and once they've unlocked all those (by killing enough dinosaurs naturally!) they can gain access to Field Dressing (a second command for the D spot), Ride (ditto), HP +20PERCENT/30PERCENT/40PERCENT/50PERCENT (these all upgrade each other, so it's not a total of +150PERCENT!), etc.
Then you have the Heavies start out with Autofire (Ranged Barrage) command in the S slot, locked Light Armor/Medium Armor/heavy Armor/Light Weapons/medium weapons/heavy weapons; then they can gain Drag by Tail (D), etc.

The joy of all this JP hunting is that if there's no Ultimate Class, everyone has to pick one to stay in (like Tactics and Disgaea), but they're gonna want to max out every class before they settle on one so their JP won't go to waste. So you'll have a server full of dino-riding Heavies and tail-dragging Barbarians, and maybe even a few straight up dino-riding barbarians.

So, draw out which class abilities they should get first, how many dinos they need to kill to unlock each one, which ones they get for free and which ones have to fight for the S and D button. Then it'll be trivial to script a system NPC to actually DO it.

addin to that offtopic but yeah percent doesn't work along time ago when I was quoting something from an email I had to go through and delete every single percent sign and there were like 30, Why doesn't it work when theres a lot of them anyone know?
