Plants!

a race of plants. you start out as a newly planted seed and grow to a bigger plant! the players have to take care of you. only downside is that you stay in one spot and are helpless to attackers. but this race is master of the toall!

Good Idea. But I think when they are in their "middle" form they can walk.

Some Zulites will be plant like. Much like how a log will grow moss, some Zulite bodies will look like that, very moss covered, maybe a few stems growing out of their head too ^_^

Perhaps an organic plant like creature that needs water to live or it dies out til others give it water. if it drys out its up to a kind fellow graalian to help it back on its feet =)

You can't have it so you start out unable to walk... Where would you be put when you start out? And it would be boring for starting players who pick the race.

Maybe as a non-player race. But not as a player race. Who would pay 27 bucks a year to play as vegitation?!?

Well, ehh, here we go...
They should be free as a seed and don't grow until some really guillible newbie who hears you say you'll give him 1000 gralats if you plant him comes along and plants you and you laugh at him and he cuts you down. Then you go back to being a plant and can slightly attack players by lunging out. Sorta like Zelda's deku babas. Eventually more plants are planted by you, and you fuse into one huge plant and get revenge on everyone who tried to kill you, because now you can move!! You keep fusing with plants who come along until you're a HUGE killer plant. Like it? Yeah. And when you fuse all the players run and if they're too close, you eat them and gain super power!! You can eat all the players who come near for new powers, take their weapons, money and other stuff! Well? Any comments? You idiot's? Improvements?

Maybe if you can become a Root when you die...

Move underground very slowly, can't be killed, etc...

Then you can spend some time travelling as a root, find a nice quiet place, grow some vines, a venus flytrap head, spread out over the forest (each vine can be alternately controlled, switch between them with A+Direction, move it with the direction keys...)

Very complicated, whole lot of scripting, but plants would be some interesting villains. ^_^

If you accidentally (or purposely) grew into another player's roots, you'd fuse and one player would do one thing, and the other would do something else! If 5 plants were fused, 1 would control arms, one would control feet, one would control hands, one would control feet and one would be the master control and be the brain, making the rest do certain things! But I liked my old idea... C'mon, people! Start making images and GO! This idea is getting good!!! Also, you need water (gotta be close to water) or else you'll dry out and die. Cool?

I dunno about merging...reckon it'd be easier to just have alliances...

Yeah, you need a root in the water and unoccupied grass to grow a new limb...

Some smaller plants (starting out) can grow without water, but not past 1 limb...

After fusing, you break apart into a HUGE plant. Eat other plants and get bigger. Plants could attack people!!

I think that when they kill you. You grow into a root, then you have to find some water underground and goto it and grow back to a plant.

We could make it so that if there was a canal that needed to be crossed, the plant could grow a root bridge for everyone!
