Uh, Zone is like an arcade game; you play a couple of games until you run our of quarters, quarters being your boredom limit. There's no real point to the game.

Actually, it's typical for Andrew to do this -- it's like a routine. Andrew becomes staff and promises that big changes happens then everyone hypes him as the SERVER SAVIOR then he leaves in the middle of his work.

From the posts he makes, he still gets a ****load done. I'd rather someone who left on and off and did a lot of work than someone who stays around for years doing nothing.

Dusty you're blowing that point way out of proportion. Andrew isn't that productive as you think.

Now there is a suitable replacement to do Andy's work and that is Crow; and I'm sure because I've watched him work before. Though, he should work on the commons' needs which was Andy's big ups.

You're misunderstanding the work. He's been working on Era Dev, the systems of which are currently incompatible with those of Era and as such, none of them have been used on the main server at this time. So yes, he's done alot of work, but we need to find a good way to put it to use before you'll see any of it.

It was my assumption Era Dev was going to eventually replace the current Era. If that's the case it's not a matter of how to put it to use, but when it will be finished as a whole.

I don't really think the current development team is productive at all. Especially after seeing Hachi in "era_whatwhatindabutt.nw" I don't think much is going on ;o Hachi has a lot of work ethic and I'll give him that, but he isn't the greatest scripter out there. He no where near compares to Crow. That's a problem x.x Crow on the other hand, I have no idea what he's up to. Towards the end of my departure he wasn't able to get that much done. How long did it take to get the mall finished? Is it even done? lol. I don't see it released so I could only assume ;o

Era Dev was going to eventually replace the live server. It was basically started from scratch and it was getting very far, but now it seems to be unfinished. I don't know what is planned to be done with it seeing as how I can't see anyone else but Andy actually putting that stuff to use. It's not like they can just copy/paste onto the live server and use it. Andy tells me the content is complicated beyond Crow's understanding. He could be wrong, but if he's right then good luck.

I'm sorry about that, I got so much school stuff to do right now, I can't do much. My mall is almost done though, I plan to finish it soon. I say soon because I don't have a set date. I know I say soon pretty often, but whatever

Are you kidding me? When I was ETA he fixed all of the event problems that I told him about right there on the spot. He was able to fix all of the problems I threw at him within the 2 days I spotted them out. If I had told any other NAT I wouldn't see any results until the next week.

I know it's nice that he receives requests but fixing is just a hack job. It is productive but not groundbreaking "era-fixing" productive.

You are probably right. I guess it's the reason they all say that I'm the only one doing any work. But that's completly wrong. I just work on my own ideas and then release them. The others work aswell, but their stuff is released later.

When Rick was delayed in releasing the server because the development wasn't finished, Stefan came and personally finished alot of it. He likes Era.

Stefan was really pissed when Rick and Skyld were doing nothing on Era, I remember him posting about it on the good ol' unofficial forums. I was actually surprised he'd say that because if I were him I would just fire their lazy asses.
