Maybe just lower the max level you can obtain by leveling speed x.x?

I'd rather just have a sprint key or some kind of temporarily speed boost. After you're lower than X hit points, you won't be able to use it (to prevent runners from taking advantage of it). There should also be some sort of cooldown for it as well. The treadmills should just increase the distances sprint can travel.

Good Idea. Maybe have the treadmills give you more stamina (limit it or Temp it) and the sprint key is a nice idea as well.

Also, I think this is a decent idea not sure if anyone has suggested it yet, but there should be gun upgrades shop. Like i'll use my M4 for example: The shop should offer upgrades such as clip increase. Damage increase. Spread Change. Speed increase. Reload Speed. Burst Upgrade. Would this be a decent idea for era?

I came up with that idea a while ago. I even made a business plan for it called "Weapon Arsenal". TOO BAD IT WAS REJECTED ALONG WITH MEDITECH

the 2 people that have good scripting ability on the staff team?

not everyone on the staff team can script as good as andy/crow, thus a lot of suggestions that require coding are very hard to implement. I like how everyone just assumes we don't want to do work. well, we can't work outside of our ability, sorry. it would be nice though, but lets be real here

i don't do much work on Era alone, it's generally Era Dev. However, the scripting on their is all done by myself and Sales so far, I'm away for the weekend [romantic getaway thing planned] so I'll be doing things on Monday whilst he's at work.
Working on a few overworld things, maybe I'll do mall so it's over and done with actually...

I think bounty hunting should be made public... anyone can get money for bounties that are made on people. it doesn't need it's own business with all these lame weapons

Item Assembly

Basically just have it where a player can work for a public NPC-ran business and assemble the items it sells. Instead of having it like the boring repetitive stocking system, make it so that you assemble it by matching the right keys as you put each peace together; pretty much like DDR.

To make it where players don't ***** the hell out of the businesses, have it where the business gains an X amount of materials for assembly per hour. If that particular business is full on stocks then they'd have to move on to the another public business. The public businesses are pretty much the current NPC stores such as the Electronics Shop, Hospital, "Unstick Me"'s gun shop, ect.

The stocks of the stores would be reduced by the hour so they don't overstock; or how ever the current player businesses work.

Make a better stocking system, and a way to get your own paycheck. I've worked at Gun Point before and the business owner is an ******* that doesn't pay their employees.

yeah that's true there should be some kind of system put in place to make sure business employees get the money they have earned.

On a side note the style saver needs some work. It's completely fuked.

Ok so heres my idea that just popped into my head.

So to make the economy work and provide more jobs my idea is to have a weapons manufacturing plant. All the guns on era must come from there. Shops buy the guns from there and are made with materials from the mines.
The plant then delivers the guns to the shop. So it needs to employ drivers (or it can be a free lance job for ppl with cars?).

And for more funness. Maybe drivers could get robbed between delivery points and therefore need to hire protection like PPA or something.

Anyways I think bounty hunting should be made public but maybe up the fee so theres not to many bounties.

Also on the topic on robbery, Maybe gangs/parties could rob gang bases. That would encourage raids and more gang members aswell as ppl guarding there base. But it should be difficult and only doable with some of that gang online. Maybe it could require a lock picking skill or something.

Also its to expensive to buy things with event coins, like 200? win 200 events?

Also lol with the reset, it might make some ppl go to atrius if its classic by then.

Maybe have a long conveyor belt production line that the item will travel down where various tasks must be completed at various stops along the way.

-Get some nice conveyor belt/machine gfx... I want to see moving parts !

OOO an other idea just hit me,

Players can buy houses and turn them into businesses. Like initally being able to sell a limited number of items but if the business grows then it gets more item slots.

Same for gangs. Lets say if enough people are in a party and own enough property collective that area becomes gang terrority.

Heres my other idea i had at the era POW WOW event. Gangs have territories that can be taken or gained. Businesses in that territory have to pay a protection tax to the gang in control.

Man im smart. Dont go stealing these ideas atrius etc.

I rather like the current Bounty Hunter system now.
It's more effective than it's ever been.

I do, however, think that the minimum price to put a bounty should be lowered
to about $200; and even lower when the reset comes around. It'd bring in more business.

I also like the mutual agreement that PPA and Bounty Hunter have; we
both follow certain PK guidelines, but we're free to attack one another on sight.
It gives Era more of a "rivalry" feel.

Hey, Atrius is pretty fun when it's got a playercount.
The only downsides to Atrius I've seen are:

• Bases aren't PK-friendly.
• Atrius staff are highly unprofessional. They act like children,
  and use staff tools as if it's their playground.
• The majority of active players spend more time making money than PKing.

Fix at least two of the above issues, and Atrius would get headway.
