Poll: Does Zone need police?

I've been thinking about this for a while, and it frustrates me that we dont have enough people with kick/ban rights to always lock hackers, which make it a pain for us p2p. Im suggesting the ET's choose 7 people, based on thier credibility and how many times they have reported hackers to zone staff. The only powers the zone police would have would be locking, unlocking, and kick. (Possibility) If they have had to ban an account 3 or more times, they can host a small meeting with other police, with a minimum of 4 required, to decide if they should ban account. That would be nice since alot of hackers just come back later, and because to my knowledge Gambit is the only one who can ban, and hes almost never on. Add your opinion on this and comments.

Well, Zone does need more people to watch the hackers, but it's hard to find credible people.

Won't work. If Stefan can't trust his ET's with ban rights, hes not going to trust other players with them. Also kick/lock are probably the most likely commands to be abused if someone was to get rights.

just shut down zone, with the new updates coming in Graal V5, it will go downwards.

I handle all players that are reported in the special staff report thread that is private to everyone except Zone staff. If the current Zone staff want someone taken care of, then they should post there.

I don't think the current people given power are fit for the job, but they're probably the best stefan could find on zone anyway.

Plus the most of the people here listed also have to do Events/Can ban, Vulcan's banning speed i don't know, Gambet's, Jesse told me he was slow.
Somehow i know gonna get a flame or somthing from a certain person.

quintin, its useless ask for it cause they will always say no. ive asked for police as well but i just got bombarded. though there are people on alot (ex: SN and Huwa ive seen on lately) people arent on all the time. in that time period a hacker can hack, torment people, and make a new account before the old one gets banned..if it ever does...

Seriously, this is silly, because I think whoever started this thread just wanted a chance to be Staff, because they asked for 7 GPs that it a outrageous amount, if we did indeed need a GP it should only be one, but we already have one, Gambet.

If you want to be able to report people then simply get proof, PM an ET, or even SN to witness the hacker, they can then report them. Or get a Video of them, and this should become very easy to do very soon, as Graal V5 will have a video recording program with it, and by the pictures its quality is better then Fraps for graal.

Now, Yes it is true sometimes their is no one, but even if we had 7 GP (like that would happen), their would still eventually arise a time when none are on, and then someone makes a thread agian, and this discussion happens agian.

Edit: Vulcan is also on all the time, so just PM him to witness it.

gambet bans accounts within 10 minutes of reporting them usually john. Regarding our god of war and forgery(Vulcan)he only comes when the proper respect is given to him and he is not disrespected in that mannner.

As I stated before, I ban everyone that the rest of the staff reports in the special staff-online section of the Zone forums. If they need anyone banned, they can post there and *poof*, they're banned!

John as my posted stated, you will be able to "Video Capture" in V5 with a little bit better quality then Fraps, so just ask a Staff for a E-Mail or they can create one for soley sending in Reports of Hackers with Videp Clips or Links. And if you still say we need a staff how about explain yourself more, Banning does take time, no GP comes on and readies the Ban list and wants to type about 20 names(Yes, I am also including "Copy & Paste").

But really, I am thinking of it now, and if one of the Staff could make a E-Mail soley for reporting hackers, that would help alot.

I think being able to usd for zone stuff will destroy it. If you read up you can spend money on gralats to buy zone stuff at the zone store when v5 comes. If thats not ruining zone then I don't know what is.
