Ricky do you not get it? Alan picked his choice primarily on care, and loyalty to the kingdom. Personally i would've even chosen Felix myself if it were based on that. And also you really can't flame Yann for not being active for irl issues, it's called a life and some peoples lives are more complicated than others. So quit crying and deal with the decision that's made.

And also Ricky you should be glad someone as dedicated as Felix got to be governor instead of whining about how you or someone else didnt get it and loseing the respect of some of your closer friends on this game.

I hear your words friend and may even understand them. alan is indeed an irreplacable leader but lets face it...Felix may have skipped a few ranks but he is ready for leadership. As for yannick he too is more than capable. Lets face this though... Is USDing if you are a kingdom leader bad? If you buy items with money...for the purpose of filling your event's chest then it really is not a big thing. you'll find that the majority of good leaders will buy items with cash for the sake of their kingdom.

Unfortunately i have quit therefore I was not able to take up the offer of leading the kingdom. Same goes for most cp. Why do we have this problem? Because the staff dont like working around here and we'd rather do something more fun with our gaming lives like playing piratekingonline for example. No advertisement intended.

As for all this "End of the world" talk, lets face it, the only thing alive on this god forsaken server is a few kingdoms. Felix's promotion was well deserved. He has land skills and quite adequate and quite impressive ship battling skills. He has been with us since day 1 and personally i don't think the kingdom will go wrong with him. Although alan said yann is too busy to lead, maybe he is but is that not a good reason why there is 2 governors? Yannick is a strong leader and a powerful force not to be reakoned with. So when he is around it gives Cp that little more strength.

Felix has just settled in, give him a chance to try things out!

Personally, I wouldn't have chosen Felix and Yann, but I am sure that Alan had very good reasons-there is no way he would have chosen them unless he was positive they were the best candidates for Governer.

It is very sad to see Alan retire, however it is very nice that he will still be on GK once in a while, and it is also good that we have many people in the higher-ranks besides Felix and Yann who will be helping out with the kingdom.

As I said, these would not have been my first choices, but I have no idea how to run a kingdom, and therefore I would have no clue who would be the best for the position, and what skills are required. Alan was the Governer for three years, and if he can't decide who is the best prospective Governer, I don't think anyone can.

Just my opinion people.
