The skull would need work. For one you can tell the lower jaw bone is not on the same angle as the rest of the head. Neither are the teeth.

Uh, The teeth are off, but the jaw isn't.

The perspective on the lower jaw is slightly off as it's shifted to the right. The teeth need work also. Other than that, I don't really see any problems with it, since everybody has their own style.

Have you seen any CD covers that look like that? x-x

Even the cartoony covers have more of a realistic feel to them.

The Jaw isn't off if you're aligning it with the teeth, but with the skull as it should be, it's very, very off.

Thats the way they wanted it. I drew the picture and showed them it, and they said "That's exactly what we were going for".

Minus the jaw being longer than it should be, The angle isn't off.

I don't mean any offense here, but, if you honestly feel that way I'd suggest you looking at a skull.

The jaw might be the right shape, but the way you've shaded it doesn't match the rest of the skull and makes it look like it's out of perspective.

Light sources as far as I can tell-
Rest of skull: high and to the left
Jaw: slight-high centered

Actually Saiyan, considering the angle of the skull itself, the jaws angle IS off as well as the teeth. And I really must question as to why the teeth are gray... are they supposed to be made of silver or something?

For note, your jaw looks as though it's being looked at from a front perspective, unlike the rest of the skull.

As for the image itself, ditch the black lines in the skull. They vary and look very pixelated against a bunch of obviously not pixeled art, and stand out too much. As for the fire, I don't care too much for it, but if that's what they want then I guess there's no point in me saying different.

I very much so detest it. I hate it.

Also - it's low-res (72DPI) it would have to be at least 250DPI for printing.

the high color painting style shading of the skull is having an ENORMOUS clash with the black line art that you still have included

take those out and you seem to be leaning towards galdors style
check out his work for some reference and tips

I was gonna point that out also, though I don't know much about printing out high quality stuff to say.

Anyways, I'll come back and say on the art that the fire shows that it's smudged. The flames coming off of the text at the top nearly looks like bare tree's because of how smooth and abrupt they end. When the picture was loading(I have 56k) I honestly thought it was the top of a creepy forest.
I suggest really looking into some flames and perhaps even looking at them in motion somehow. There are a lot of generators that generate flaming text that you can use for reference.
Also, my personal opinion is that the 'flame' under the skull on the ground should be scratched and exchanged with light being cast from the flaming skull.

I don't like it whatsoever.. Especially for a CD Case.. It should be somewhat realistic and more professional looking. Well thats in my opinion anyways.

No, the teeth are good, the mouth is a bit off...

By what he means by fake is that there are outlines in one place, then no outlines in the other. I think it'd look cooler if the face was like > or >=D and then try to blend colors and put some more fire in front of the skull, so it's as if they skull is moving into/out of the fire...

Also, may I ask what type of band this is? How much are they giving you?
