Ah true, we actually designed a new spell system which is pretty similer to what everyones said, and we used some ideas to improve it

Its changed so its more user friendly when fighting, my original plan wasnt so user friendly.

We're also thinking about this instead, you would earn runes instead and then figure out how to combine those runes to make magic instead of drawing symbols. Like you would click three runes and then whatever the result of those runes is would be cast....which one do you guys like better?

Yeah, except LostMagic was literally built around the rune drawing system. The designers claim that it was actually designed just so that they could impliment it.

drawing would probably only work in turn-based fighting styles. It is a good concept however, but I don't see anyone wanting to take the time to draw when someone else could be a lot faster.
