But Graal already bases something on the user's wprd.
When you get an account, you have to verify your age. Now, if the user's word is good enough then, then it should be good enough now. If a person wanted to change the results, they would have gone for the 25+. Lets face it, most people here are older than 18, and graal should recognize that
If you want to see a copy of my drivers licence, I could send it to you

1) It does matter, which is why the lounge was apparently created...

2) You post using your Graal account which had to agree to that age thing to begin with, right?

3) Some of us are honest.

Yes, but our forum rules are made not only because of the age of the users. It's also made to beware a immaculate appearance of GraalOnline and Cyberjoueurs.

Plain and simple said: The company don't want themes discussed which are not suitable for children under 14 years. And the company gave us more or less precise directions by the rules.

Understandable. However, what do posts about religion, abortion, and many other moral issues have to do with age? How are they not suitable for someone of the age of 14? If someone says something that isn't suitable, delete that post, that is your job as a mod. Instead, threads are always locked.

Using age as a justification for your increased rules would make sense if age actually played a role in most cases. Also, as I said before, how many complaints did you get a few years ago that suggested that rule changes were needed?

This is what Unixmad said:

Themes like religion are highly sensitive so its not a theme we should discuss here. This has nothing to do with age but with social issues.

No, but I'm willing to bet you wouldn't keep changing them to hurt yourself, and furthur limit the topics that you could discuss.
I still think the best answer is to, instead of changing all of the rules, make an 18+ forum, or change the lounge into that.

I can't get it why. There are alternative forums to be used for such things. Why must it be the graal forum?

There are all kinds of places on the net that you can go to discuss adult topics. These forums are for a game geared towards children, get over it.
There will be no "adult" forum.

So you believe that graals community should go its sepperate ways?
Wouldnt it be better if we could all stay here?
At least remember the fact that if everyone over 18 left, these forums would be nothing.

Even if you got an 18+ forum, what would be the point? You could talk about alcohol? There's not much we've ever talked about on that subject anyways. The real freedom you (and I) want is to be able to criticize the rules, administration, staff, etc, and we won't get that simply from some age-restricted forum.

I think your wrong there x-x. No proof can be given that your parents agreed to allow you to play and join the community.

Agreed.

Someday the people who run this forum will actually realize that when people criticize them, it doesn't have to be a bad thing. Let people debate over the rules. What is the harm in that?

Have you ever heard of the term "the customer comes first"? You are supposed to listen to what we complain about, not dismiss it as us being disturbances. You are supposed to run this game like professionals. And the forums are no different than the game.

Also, I'd be willing to bet that if you treated us with a little bit of respect, it would be returned. Kaimetsu ran the forums for years, while deleting posts, banning members, and doing all the other supermod duties. However, he is seen in great respect, because he heard people out and let them have their complaints.

What is so hard about that?

I realize that people are going to be immature about things. People are going to say stupid things and take it too far. But as the leaders of the forum, it is foolish to alienate the rest of your clients just because a few people are fools.
