There are more kingdoms than rp guilds, I am pro rp guilds down with extra kingdoms. God just look at that MASSIVE list of kingdoms. there are 10. With 10 kingdoms divided by around 200 players which about half or less than have rps it woulkd be around 10 each and that isn't enough to ropleplay. That is if the kingdoms turned out equal.

The list does not include the newbie attempts to start a kingdom.
Most of the leaders of the failed attempts, probably a few real kingdom leaders and some rp guild leaders made their kingdoms for the same reason they make guilds: to have imaginary power.
Thinking that being the leader of a guild by making up a corny name and putting King (theirname) [kingdom) they look high and special. But really all it does is make them look corny for most of them. For others it turns out better and they actualy do get power in a kingdom. Those probably made theirs because they don't like certain people in another kingdom or they want tehir own as well.

You can tell their foolish attempts becayuse they make no notice of rp in rp kingdom. Most of them use king as their title. For gods sake there are like 20 kings now can't they get it into their minds to come up with something rp liek a regint or well soemthing.

Gaah, sorry for making such a long thread but I hope those who read it all knwo what I am talking about.

more kingdoms give ppl more Choices to JOIN the guild the type the like best. Thieves pirates of the truope. Fighting could be all but mostly ORAX since it is THE kingdom of STREAGTH. Most OF the kingdoms are castle types like Dustari celts orax and Samuria but pirate crew and zormites don't have castles so there are unique. GRAAL 2001 need kingdoms

If there was now RP on graal all it would be is a bunch of complaing ppl wanting bomys and trying to earn the money for one and playing events once in a while RP fills in the places between activitys

Heck no! Some of those might WISH they were Kingdoms but guess what, NOPE it ain't happening. Dustari, Pirate Crew, Zormite, Samurai, Celts THAT IS ALL (Kalaron is gone, Karakaze don't have tags to my knowledge yet) As for the rest, they are either not Kingdoms (ie. guilds) or posers :P What more is a Kingdom than an RP Guild basically? Only difference is that the Kingdoms work together to form a storyline and promote interaction between them. These other "guilds" don't do that, they don't even try, and so they don't count. None of them have tried to interact with Dustari that I have seen apart from Moogle Government (and I do not accept them because they are based off of a Squaresoft trademark) Not only that but a lot of those others are just clones of existing Kingdoms that offer little or no originality.

As for the rest of your post, I know there are too many... the question is what do we do about it? The best thing we can do, the official Kingdoms, is to just IGNORE the other guilds and they will fade away in time.

To a newbie, on the surface, it will appear like that. But there is much more to it. Roleplaying, exclusive NPCs, Kingdom War events for trophies, etc.

Unfortunately my guild, Shadow Knights, does not have a guildhouse on 2K1... so therefore I don't think we qualify as an RP guild. Honestly, it's not just the people that are encouraging more kingdoms it is also Stefan, I mean I sent him an e-mail a few weeks ago about trying to get a guildhouse online and he declined. He said that only Kingdoms may get some sort of castle or guildhouse or whatnot. THerefore, this encourages more people to make Kingdoms. Maybe if Stefan put into consideration the idea that RP guilds can get some sort of meeting place online that would help drop the number of kingdoms and balance the equilibrium. Otherwise were going to keep having more kingdoms. Even my guild Shadow Knights wants to be a kingdom, I don't want to be a kingdom... but unfortunately that is the only way to get your peice of work on 2K1. I mean, so much empty space and we can't upload a small meeting place. Come on...

Thanks for this post, I wasn't really aware of this problem. I see the Baddie castle and the Bomy Gang caverns so I figured that guildhalls were allowed. Maybe if you made the levels, and they were VERY good, and sent them to him maybe he would reconsider.

Or move your guildhouse to a playerworld. If Kingdoms get too out of hand and chaotic, I will move Dustari to G_Yoshi's playerworld where I will have more control over what happens with it. So see, you might want to go that route too, it could end up being a better choice, you never know.

Stefan is doing a good job, but he is trying to please the majority which can cause problems for the minority (which I am included in ^_^) so I don't blame him at all.

Why should he be more lax to it? We are trying to keep the medicore OFF of G2K1, Stefan is keeping the floodgate pretty tight and not letting much drip through which PLEASES me very much

I feel kinda sorry that it is keeping some guilds from getting areas of their own but frankly I don't care much beyond that. If that is all they want, they can go get their stuff put up on Classic.

TrueHeaT: Karakaze Troupe have been trying to get a tag creator for quite a while now... Stefan just ignores me about it. I think it's because I haven't given him a castle. Well we don't have castles, we use hideouts that are already in the graal2001 world and we are nomads.

Perhaps you should have a way to setup tents throughout the Graal2001 world, and a tag creator will be inside the tents.
