If they have all have different buffs, people would just pick the best one and disregard all the others. If you made a str+2 shield and a int+2 shield, more people would use the str+2 shield and thus, unequal items. Why? Because not all stats are equally useful.

Doesn't it depend on the individual? If all the kingdom item stats were equal it would help to encourage the members of that kingdom to use their own shield instead of opting for one that has better stats

We were talking about equal total stats.

If the tag equipment system is used on them, there won't be that problem.

Except I'm not talking about kingdom shields... I'm talking about all items in general.

if one kingdom has better stats on a shield than the other, more people would opt to go to that kingdom. say somebody wants a str+1 shield and Dustari is the only kingdom who has that shield. They would probably try to join that kingdom for the shield. if all the shields have the same stats from the different kingdoms then it wouldn't matter which kingdom they go to.

my example is when they released the KJ shield, and Samurai boots. many people came into samurai just for the events. also, how many people joined CP back in the day for the pirate shield with Str+1, when it was one of the only shields with str in it?

my idea is that all the kingdom shields should have the same stats.
all the kingdom helms would have the same stats, but stats that differ from the Kingdom shields an other Kingdom items.

This is why you make equipment that is geared toward certain styles of fighting.

how about this

take vipers idea of all kingdom items giving the same stats but adjust it a little

lets say dustari and samurai.....

dustari shield = str+1
kj shield = con+1

dustari helm (made up stats here) = con+2
kj helm= str+2

you would get equal stats from each kingdom
just the stats are on different items

get what im saying?

Big Stats Problem Solution

since stats are so high on items why not boost item to it?

it makes everyone stronger and more reason to release powerfuller monstersa,

what we should have is a lvl requirements system and stats requirement system, like pmop lvl 12 req, str 17, dex 12 something like that, gives players a goal to achiee when lvling, but of course u gotta boost the exp givaway by the monsters.
IMPORTANT:

Graal is a good game but nothing special compared to most other RPG's, so make it special! give this game something no other rpg has thought of, thats what gets players, thats what gets fun.

and if thats too hard to do u seriously need a new staff development team, 70% of staff work is ideas and thinking, its what thinking and planning get things happening on GK.
