setbackto in ganis bug and RC2 issues

1.
setbackto in ganis does not give the gani its to be setbackto the parameters that were given to the original gani, that means that on Icarus, the clothes dissapear when a setbackto gani is used. The player becomes naked because none of the parameters are passed along which tell it which clothes to use.

2.
RC2 has quite a few issues. It stops responding a lot of the time and you have to reconnect, if the rc main window is not present (like its minimized into the bottom right tray in windows) it will not allow you to update scripts or upload levels, you also get disconnected a lot when it remains in the tray at the bottom. The disconnection issues are definately the most annoying. I also noticed that with original RC you upload mass amounts of files much quicker, and with RC2 you usually get disconnected while uploading a bunch of files.

Vulcan: Yes I have the latest RC2 version.

Try messing around with GANI Scripts. You can do something like setani("ani",params); in the GANI file and it will be secure.

As for the RC2, do you have the most recent version?

You can use attr[] / #Px for passing ani-independent parameters

Reviving this.

If you don't get the issue with problem #1: Attributes in ganis transfer when 'setbackto' is true. However, params do not. Icarus uses nearly ten different clothing pieces to modify player looks, and params are used to do so. It'd be very helpful if params were also made to transfer in setbackto.

It is recommended to always use #Px/attr[] for clothes and similar stuff, it also means much less network traffic and lag. Only use aniparams for really dynamic one-time things, like for specifying what object you lift.

So the only real way to fix this is to go through every gani and change them to attributes?
