Since thirs really no point to alpha other than just killing anything you see why not make it sort of like a irica without bases. It would be the same teams that alpha has now. Their will be a time limit (10 minutes) the team with the most kills wins. Whichever team wins gets 200$ and 100 exp.

Also if you dont like that idea I got another one. Its like a deathmatch but with teams. Their will be 4 teams of 5 (or evenly split up with how many players their are) the team will be randomly picked. You and your team will all start off at the same spot. This is preety much a deathmatch with teams and a few added bunkers (for the teams) or you could look at this like a koth without re-spawning or capturing a hill. This map would require open space though which would mean getting rid of the trees in alpha.

anyway, i like both of the ideas, i think the first one is better though because otherwise you'll end up with what happens on DM a lot, which is buddies just sitting there talking to each other (I do it too so I won't yell at anyone for it) but it can be annoying sometimes when you want to get on planet and start playing

Ok, this is silly. If you ask me, Alpha is fine the way it is. Sure, it doesn't bring an overly large playercount, but neither does Zone Wars. The whole purpose of Alpha is PKing each other randomly. This would just take away from the whole purpose of Alpha. That is why I disagree strongly with this idea.

Umm... I don't think we should change Iricia because Iricia is Iricia, and pretty much its CTB (Capture the Bases). Maybe there can be a new world - kind of like Alpha, just more of an event than just all-out killing. There could be a timer and two different teams, and whoever gets the most kills and the least deaths before the timer reaches 0 wins. The winning team gets $100 and 100 xp from their victory.

Alpha is not going to be replaced. It was one of the first maps on Zone, I'm sure it will be one of the lasts aswell. You cannot beat an all out deathmatch.

ya but not many people play their. And that once in awhile when theirs like 20 ppl on alpha it lags.

To cut this short, so you 2 don't continually post "YA LOADS OF TREES SHUD COM OTU!" over and over again. Alpha is one of the few planets that are tactical. E.G. Mines, hiding in tents (No it isn't "LAMEORZ") and pure and simple hanging around in groups to overcome any enemies.

K, and im gunna count how many times you flame.....I have played Alpha and it is horrible with lag and mines.

Alpha is probably my favorite planet. Going on your own against those who decide to team. Its a extremely easy way to get a lot of kills over deaths. You can place mines in places you know they will step or in front of tents so people don't be hiding loosers. Also G18 work the best on this planet and their my favorite weapon.

My favorite too (best memory- 51 kills 2 deaths before i had to get off, ten min after starting

) Mining is almost too easy, harder now since they show upp on mine detector, but hey, who looks all the time? Neway, i love it

Sidenote jkool, i've always been of the opinion that if someone knows what they're doing, G18 should never beat them. Just my opinion, but hey
