MAC Address / Registery Changing

In the new network cards you can actually change the MAC address (or computer ID).
You can also clear the registery with certain programs.

Just thought you should know, thats why other online games dont use computer ID to ban players.

Well it's agains the "little hacker" who don't exchange hardware or reinstall Windows each day. There are a lot of games who use computer identification for banning, beside banning accounts or ips.

Ahh hmm...
Theres always a risk anyway, if someone has a random IP and a high end network card that can change the MAC and happens to have a program that resets the registery then all online games are done for lol.
