Yes, I do intend the playerworld to fit my needs, because I'm a type of player that represents 50% of most Graal players. I'm a Playerkiller, which is what makes graal fun. The other percentage is the dev. people (25%) and then there's noobs (Like yourself) who like to wear anime heads, pretend their Link, and put all their friends in their nicknames.

=/ the immages of many npcs are from the webgifs folder, they simply are servering as placeholders until i was able to make my own gfx and ganis, i am currently working on uploading my gfx onto the server. also, levels are linked properly, i have never had anyone have trouble after i re=uploaded the levels. the server is still under developement

And if those placeholder's are there so you re-color them, you're still screwed.

Maybe you should just use the regular Graal graphics (ie: bed,trees, etc....), and simply don't use extra stuff such as the tent, etc... until you get your own uploaded, otherwise people will continue to complain and/or complain to the pwa

actually, the tent thing above isn't even from Dark Rival and yeah, i'm not going to use placeholders in the other two overworlds, i just have to fix what i have now there's going to be many original gfx in all three overworlds

Biggest server ever? How many levels is your overworld? I hope its more than 1024 levels.

i forgot to check...so far, for the first overworld there are about 166 weapons or items this is just the first overworld...there will be 2 more i love scripting weapons currently there are more than 450 levels without playerhouses and businesses, again, there will be 2 other overworlds, even bigger and better than this first one. and "bigger!=better?" of course it does! bigger means that you get to have more fun with it and explore more. look at the last RPG you played, how would you have felt if it took you 3 hrs to get all the hearts (like a certain UN-named server does ) dark rival will put the player into more action, no matter how many people are on.

Bigger does not mean you get more fun, or that the game will remain interesting for longer. Good solid content does, and you do not need a big world to have good solid content.

I would rather walk around a small server and find that in every corner there is something new or something to do, rather than walk around a huge overworld to find that nothing in it interests me.

Give the server substance. Quality, not quantity.

a good point really, it it wasn't Dark Rival we were talking about i see many servers that are nothing but walking to the next level. i tried to add something different to each level, but obviously i couldn't add to EVRY level. It's interesting, more than most servers, i think, then again, it's not up to me to decide... i just want as many people as possible to have fun with it. i only mention things like size and quests to draw atention so that more people can play and have fun.

Listen, not to break your heart, but you aren't to great in the field of development.

Here's what you need to do -

1. Hire a scripter to give you a nice custom battle system (Will gain much more interest than having the classic one).

2. Hire LATS and GATS. No offense, but you just aren't the best.

3. Ganiers. This will most likely be needed if you will have custom battle systems and a lot of weapons.

4. This is YOUR job. It's up to you (the manager) to decide what will get done on your server. PLAN IT OUT FIRST. Think of something the players want. And by this, I mean think deeper than "LoL MOER QUESTSS RAWFUL". Good ideas require hard work. By the look of this place, you threw in a bunch of levels and hoped that players would have fun Pking and nothing BUT Pking.

While this server is probably going to suck, it's still UC. I'm proposing that we delay making fun of his server until the month is up and he has lost his bet .

thankyou...not for the suck part though, but for not being the type of person who doesn't realize that the server isn't finished! and i do have staff, and i have original gfx and ganis as well. and i want this to be a clasical medieval server, so im keeping the normal battle system. Don't worry, with all the weapons and techniques, it will be far from normal

That's what you said for your previous ideas. And when I think midieval, I don't think about the classic system.

Also, you may have original GFX and Ganis, but are they good? Players aren't going to look at the fact that it's nothing they've seen before, they're going to look at how good it looks.
