The bracer bug

I'm sure this has been touched on before, but it needs to be addressed. Bracers, as most us know, are buggy as heck with AC. When you put them on, they have no real effect on AC if you have armor on, which makes them completely pointless to own. I don't understand why they're even in the Coin Shop anymore if you can't use them to their full potantial. You should be able to add on armor with them, since they are a piece of armor. I mean, really. What is the big complication getting in the way of them being fixed?

I could understand if bracers went on a person's body in place of the armor, but as our little friend here demonstrates, this is not so.

Hmm, I never noticed this, mainly because I don't wear body armor, so nothing stops my bracers from working. Maybe it was an attempt at not letting AC get completely out of control?

I've had both ice bracers and dex bracers, the only time I never got AC from them was when I was wearing mithril. When I had PMoP it was fine.

I am currently wearing Gold Bracers, which give me -23 AC when I put them on. But when I put on my PMoP, how much do I have? -23.

Why is it this way? It makes no sense. Bracers are an additional piece of armor. I could understand if bracers covered one's entire hand, making you sacrifice wearing gloves, but they are worn on the forearm, which is completely bare otherwise. 50 ECs for a pair of ice bracers or 40 for Gold, etcetera, is a ridiculous price to pay for an item that doesn't even have any great benefit to it. At least the Bakers and Archers Gloves are useful, along with the Sash. There's at least 5+ Bracers out there, and not a one of them particularly useful.

Ice Bracers = Ice Resist.

Bracers are for people who don't have 30 str, they generally do not weigh you down as much.

It's always been this way, don't go changin' **** just cause it's not being used to it's full potential. Graal Kingdoms isn't used to it's full potential, don't see you changing that ;p

Actually, maybe you're right, which is why I stuck with simple bracers that only had a stat + and armour +.

It's to keep ac quite low, but they're mainly here for stat increases and resistances.

Well, if Bracers, Bronze, Silver, and Gold do nothing except for raising AC and Armour, then why do we still have them? Not being able to use bracers for armor knocks out the usefulness of at least half of the bracers out there. Would bracers really raise up the AC on a person that much more? We're not talking 50 points. We're talking a max of 14, fully enchanted. That's 1 AC more than a fully enchanted cloak. Letting bracers raise your AC more would actually give some incentive to earning them. How many people today do you see buying bracers instead of the gloves or other stuff in the Coin Shop? Really?

I'd buy them over a PMoP because of the weight.

I use my bracers mainly because I hate being slowed down (and I think that the body armor is kinda....well....ugly. )

Have you ever heard of Wood Bracers. They are good for super blessing. Because they have luck, they are the best bracers in my opinion.
