The Urban battlefield

*Alarms are sounding*
Get up soldier! The Orion Armada has opened fire on the city of Kovos. The Kovos Militia is forming up now to prepare for an assault from skies. The city lies in ruins, they destroyed our Mech and our Speeder Bike hangers. Luckly we believe they will not have enough time to land Mechs or Speeder Bikes of their own.

Watch out for the constant cannon fire from the ships above, when it begins run inside or you will be destroyed. We have cracked their codes and we know the time frame they will bomb the surface. We've uploaded this clock into your helmets. Use the craters for cover, and what ever you do, DO NOT LET THEM THROUGH THE LINES!

The Urban Battlefield Map will be a Siege type map.

The defense will get a minute to set up their defenses and position themselves.

The objective is to destroy the Energy Core inside of the Militia HQ, just North of the Armada Landing. To get there the attacking team must complete several objectives. Such as breaking through the front gate, breaking through the front door, etc.

The Urban Map will feature these map classes:
Marine
Commando
Light Infantry
Heavy Infantry
Sniper (scout)
Medic
Defender
Chemical Trooper

After a team has won, they will switch sides (without warping back to the pre-game lobby) and play on the opposite side.

The actual map will be about 3 levels across and about six levels high, just to establish a type of front line.

Sounds awesome. I didn't like zone, except when I got to playing the ice zone. Defending base 5 was awesome, and this sounds like something I'd like.

If you're so confident in Lance's ability, why are you scouting people out for 2k1?

the Idea is nice But that Robot ... it Doenst Really Look like a Gfx for a Gold Server...

Well im guessing that just a template Moonite like most GFX,Ideas start as then it gets improved so just wait...Rember Graal was once just some uncompiled scripts now look at it

yeah but I didnt want to tell him that his gfx suxx (i would be proud gfxen something liek this) just thats looks bit like a gfx for an server like un or npulse

The Mech Warrior is a graphic direct from Zone.

I mean it's standing there on Wild Cross dropship, right at the hanger. Mine just looks better then what they made.

Right now it's hard getting the proper staff, most turn away thinking it wouldn't be appreciated since it would be on Zone

I'm still working on it, if I dont get the proper items in two weeks (next week I'm in Washington D.C.) I'll just cancel the project all together and send you my detailed plans I guess (because you have all of those resources

Nah, it didn't die. People woke up and smelled the lag. When people see a new name on the server list they all flood to it for a couple days and eventually get bored, you should know this

Good idea, If you send me the tileset and a paint picture of where you want these I will have it done within 2 hours.
(Paint picture as in draw a basic map in paint)

Well that's the thing, our tileset guy bailed. Havn't really seen him since.

This is the reason why the project was scrapped. Our GFX artist just upped and left without reason.
