Help! Detailing >_<

Please help me out, I have been making levels for 2 years, I can do loads of different styles and levels but theres 2 things I can not do!

Could somebody show me how to detail levels and make houses look better? I have posted a level I made, its very simple, I have added the best house I could make and 'normal' detailed grass around it.
Can somebody please show me how to detail and make houses 'like a pro'?

I have been working on levels for 2 years and still can not do detail and houses.

I have posted a screenshot and level here.

tile redisign

yeah good idea, we do need a redisign, ill try getting one of my gats to change the snow and lava tiles to more options for the normal tarrain (dont need snow with backpals and custom tile sets now, and i wont need to use lava). Options may include stuff like extra corners for house roofs, angles for roofs, seeting with angles, sand to water, (make a change from having to have sand to grass to water if you know what i meen)

thanks spark good idea

ill try copying detail from another level and using that as an example for me to make my own detail, anyone else got any advice on detailing?

Umm... If someone remade the tileset with actual new tiles, instead of just recolored tiles AND GET RID OF THE DAMN ZELDA TILES then maybe it would be worth doing....

Its simple, this is the main tileset but its not impossiblet o make a new one for a server and its not impossible to use it for making levels.
I dont think we should change it because the servers could simply make their own tilesets if their so horny about it.

Just think logically, grass clumps grow near/against objects, so add some clumpage against the house.

Big fields look butt ugly on graal, choose any theme BUT fields *shiver*

As you can see.
My lawn - no thick patches of grass, because its MY lawn and I'm going to keep it relatively clean.
Out of that is left to be mangled and ratted.
I added some water bottom left for good balance, and for general logic (urgh I'm thursty!)

Also notice how there is a thick line of grass along the trees, it's only natural really.

I love that house <3

Yes but still you need to add more different tiles in it, you have used like 3 grass tiles..
You're style is 1 style that would work, but there is meny others.
