5 posts! What the hell are the mods thinking? They specifically said that double posting is ILLEGAL. How come Loriel gets away with quadra+1 posting? I dont care if he's using a special view, rules are rules mods :/

That rule was made before that old skool crap was implemented here, therefor their definition of double posting lies within the linear display.

If they're using a display that shows posts and the posts tree differently than the double posting rule cannot, logically, apply to them. You can either switch to the other modes or deal with it.

The rules need to be updated but havn't been.

I'm not acting like I run the place nor do I think that I can decide what is legal and what isn't.

The double posting rule is enforced on ME and it's not fair when it isn't enforced on Loriel. (Yeah yeah he uses a different view, but what about the rest of us?)

The rest of you cannot double post. He's not double posting unless you're using Linear Mode; if you're using Hybrid or Threaded, he is not double posting. It's all subjective, and we can't push rules on him that do not apply. Don't like it? Don't use linear.

Oh this is from Classic and a event Mr. Bear held in May 2001. It was a race from I think the Big City to Barbord on foot only. I SOMEHOW actually ended up winning.

Umm, developing for Cira Baen. Mostly the forums. We found a hack and had VBulletin forums. Spark, Chibi, Chastin, Karsh, Paradox, and Chibi were all there. Very fun times.

I remeber when i started playing i played offline and downloaded the levelspack with 56k, it took me almost an hour. . I remember when you could choose between 1 Player, 1 Player (Online), 2 Players, 3 Players and 4 Players. I played soccer with my brother in the two players mode on the soccer field one level above the newbie house...

Just being in any number of guilds back on 2k1 - age espically was pretty fun.

Lots of RP events are pretty fun to remember, like when Ghost Pirate took the Dustari "snow fort" and made it into a strip bar, which didn't make aftershock the happiest camper.
