lol wtf

I got on 2k1 to PK for a while since kingdoms was getting boring, and I went to the usual PK fest (unstick me). I noticed a guy was unpaused with the "ctrl+b" emoticon above him, so I PKed him afew times until he dropped all his items . Finaly, someone else came to unstick, and IMMEDIATLY ran over to the afk guy and started killing him. Some other people came, and started doing the same. About this time, I realized why everyone on the server has like 17 deaths and 1k kills...Everyone runs and pauses and heals, so they never die, and they only kill afk people/trial accounts. Something should be done to where people can not "lame" so badly.

I thought you said they were paused. Also, you say people are lame, but you lamed too, you PKed a dude that were BRB. Nothing can be done about that, people need to take consiense of how cowards they are.

Personally I liked it better when noone dropped anything when they died.... It didn't cause problems and noone really complained. The only reason it was made so people dropped items was because of Loriel's stupid attempt to make 2k1 like classic.

It's quite irritant that you drop stuff by porcentage(%) and not by max. If you are like carying 3k, if you die you will loose like 500g or so.
If I ever die and loose like 500g, I'd prolly get at nerves and have a piletic attack. It's almost worse then being scammed.

Why don't you get the items with your own hands like he probally did? You won't get Cancer.

If you don't like it, simply do not play there.

On a side note, I deleted the 'The end' thread, if you are wondering where it went.

So that justifies killing him?

You kill someone that is away, and say it's OK because you needed his supplies.
When someone else kills the same person, it is "lame."

I had the option of killing him for about 10 minutes straight but didn't, killing him 3 times and taking his stuff isn't that bad.

So, you still did it, yet had the nerve to call others who did the same "lame."

Maybe they needed supplies just as bad as you.

It isnt a fact of how bad you did it - You still did it. You are a lamer as much as everyone else you are trying to point out.

ahhh, I see what you are getting at now.
Hell yes i'm lame, i'm not afraid to admit it either. I will pause and sit there for 30 minutes rather than get killed by someone. When I do so though, people start cussing me out, saying all like "WTF YOU FING ****, UNPAUSE BEFORE I GET YOU BANNED". I don't see how some people can even play this server, since that is the way 90% of the players on the server are.. My point is that noone earns their kills/deaths record, they lame it by pausing/killing people like him, and it shouldn't be that way.
and as I said Dusty, I got all of the stuff he could drop, which wasn't much besides some gold.

I don't see why you place so much faith in the recorded kills and deaths of a person. I mean, there is a good chance that most got a majority of their kills from attacking confused new players.

This is, of course, excluding Farin, who will probably PK me now.

You should be able to place faith in a kills/deaths record, though, that's kinda what they are there for.

You can't always assume that someone with a lot of kills and deaths earned them "honorably". The same way you can't assume that someone with a lot of graalats(?) earned them legally(no scamming, etc). It is just a number value.

Yes, but if all of the laming on this server would cease, you would be able to more safely assume that people earned their kills

Yes,

if all the pkers stopped "laming"
if all the scammers stopped scamming
if all of the players didn't use internet slang
if dounts fell from the sky

I guess everything would be pretty neat then, huh?

The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th suggestions will not happen, regardless of what is done. If staff would change afew things around, such as disable pausing, stay dead until you press "s" after you get killed, and give newbs some sort of protection, the power of laming could indeed be weakened.

How could you effectively disable pausing without hurting newer players? (Maybe basing it off of AP?)

There are technically methods of weakening all of the points (except for the fourth. That would require strengthening.)

Let me just say that the one time I get the urge to go insanely corrupt is when I see people laming like this. Of course, it's just an animal urge, much like the urge to rend an annoying person's flesh from their bones, one that is easily supressable by willpower, but let the record so reflect . I am in no position to stop it from occuring unless it breaks a rule. Sadly, it dosent. If I catch you laming like this in a kingdoms area once they're up where it IS against the rules....let's just say my impulses will not be held responsible. Exageration, yes, but the point is that laming is a total detriment to the server.

Here's the solution:
Bring back old G2k1. Don't make it free anymore. Do some other things in the order I've listed them before. And bring back Geovanie Legend, Chris Kill'em, Ryan W, Ghost Pirate, Lamer, Stefan, and Ziro

HELL NO.
Principally the idea of not making it free anymore, if you didn't know our population will only be big if we are not Gold/VIP, dude. There is kingdoms as Gold/VIP, and it's hell better, why would they play g2k1 instead? If you didn't note, g2k1 died principally when Kingdoms came out, so shush, dude.
