Spark910 has a spectacular aura about
Post Accounts: Attributes

I think it would be very ideal and agood addition if on RC when you opened an account it stated if it was a trial account or not.

If you look where it says 'Player look' you could simply add to botom of that in a seperate Box...

Trial: [Yes/No]

And of course like that account 'Stats' you would not be able to change it, this would be useful isntead of having to ask players all the time, you could simply just look.

YES.

Then we wouldn't have to worry about jailing trialses.

Indeed.

Though jails are handy (they provide communication with staff and can have scripted release mechanisms), the only way to punish a trial account is with a ban. It'd be good to know.

Wrong, it's possible to set a server string like "server.trialjail=trial1,trial2" and stuff, then just if actionplayeronlines and then with (getplayer(#s(server.trialjail)) {setlevel jail.nw;}

or am i wrong?

Serverstrings aren't held on the account, they are held on the server, therefore wont be deleted when they log off.

how bout just have a string array(server.string), then use addstring in the jailing system to add the jailed account.

Everytime the play logs on, check if the array countains the account, if so.... warp.

Sure server.strings are bad... but better to sacrifice for a good cause.

sounds almost like a client.ID would be usefull, tied to the installed client regardless of account, trial or otherwise.

Okay another feature should be either an extra box for jail for trial accounts so they cant get out. Or something like

if (account(trial)) {

Or some scripting function which would aid in jailing scripts.

*Glad people like the idea*
