Question Grass, grass, grass

I think this question comes under grahpics design. Anyway, does anyone have any tips or anything on how to make a new good-looking grass tile? This is a kind of random question, but I was trying and it is actually quite hard (well for me anyway) to make a decent looking grass tile.

You mean just the regular grass tile? Or the tall grass, or the kinda tall grass(I don't know the name)?

I'm talking about making a new tile for the regular grass tile.

hm, well there's not really too much to do. It has a to be a relatively simple design...I think the ones Graal already uses are ok.

Try taking the grass from pics1.png and bringing it into adobe, highlight it and then put some effects on it and see what you like.

You have to make sure the tiling doesn't look patterned though.. the grass has to blend when tiled, instead of looking like a bunch of individual grass squares.

[Squeaky!]
Just make it all green!
Well not really, just first make it all once greenish color, then spread some dots over the place in one or two different colors. If you dot hat properly you'll have grass.
There's also some more advanced other methods but you'd need to have a person who can actually do graphics to explain how to make that :P
