Yes. GChar was the best.. though I'm still a bit angry at Bruges dictating the project and naming the program himself.
It was originally my idea.. I also designed the thing.. Stefan was supposed to script it, but he was lagging.. so I asked Bruges.
Although he did a good job, he failed to ever complete what we had intended for it.
If he would have stayed around, GChar would allow you to put your players on horses and change their sprites (for quick animation graphics).. however, he went off to school.. the last I ever spoke to him was when we were planning the GuildWars project.. unfortunately, I lost all the levels, had to get Destiny up in 2 weeks for July 4th, and quit a 3 weeks later.
I returned a month later with bomies and the NPC project.. when I started it with Kyle0654, Bruges was busy with NewWorld.
GuildWars MAY have been added (which would have boosted my lust for powerful role-playing civilizations), BUT, Stefan "asked" me to do Graal2001 with him.. in which case, I pretty much took over the whole plot and concepts (time, stories, races, divisions, ideas, graphics, etc).
And so, as I bable on, I state that it died out due to business (both GChar and GuildWars).
So, now, I sit here reading these forums like a rat in a cage.
Also.. another reason most of these big projects died was because many new players (like Tyhm) came and thought they could just barge in and take over the social atmosphere.
They really brainwashed other players and so I just blew all projects I had.
I don't know what made him think he could just come in and take over my "reputation".
He also destroyed Lycia.. which is odd.. because his hatreds have a strinkingly similar emotion as that of SG111.
GClock was another idea of mine.. however, when Bruges completed that, it died soon after as well.. mostly due to Graal's conversion from gif-->png.
