Babylon Update

Well, I am about to pop. As most of you know Babylon was started 10 months ago. It has been refaced 4 times and im finishing this refacing.

As an update im going to post this. I have found so many damn tree tile errors that im gonna explode. I am fixing what I think to be the final one. I estimate this beauty is going to take me 5 hours due to my stupidy 10 months ago. =/

Also, I am thinking instead of having a player house server (I hate exploring houses of players, I will steal the idea of Player Houses (unless strongly discouraged for a good reason) because owning houses and selling them is a cool thing.

Also, I have deleted 2 cities which I found very useless. The server was turning into xone with its many useless cities. We now have 2 main ones with the other 2 gone. I think it will have around 4 when sent it for inspection but Im not submitting until I fix these damn tree errors. I will show screenshots of levels in a few days and a updated map once I get the front of the mountain done.

well im wondering if it will go up =/ I know I have to send it in first but I have a feeling Shadrock is a hardass when looking at them. I just hope he remembers that this is a free PW and we cant be as good as a p2p cuz of the lack of commands we are allowed to use.

I want this to be more of a RP server but not really use classes as much as other stuff. Im not into the "Normal" stuff used on playerworlds. I dont like big magic NPCs, or useless ones that make your fart fire or somthing. Im into what is necessary and thats it. Thats why I would like to see what PK Beer is

babylon is a good server, so it problebly won't get put up... stefan made that mistake with faheria or something, and he's seeing how they're proggresing, and he won't let up any other good servers... just bad ones that make g2k1 look better.

Since im Lord Helmut's friend in real life I get to see Babylon all the time. It looks 10X greater than most of the crap up. Hes always talking about Faheria and Murasamune but he says he cant compare to them cuz they are p2p.

With my graphics skills added to Babylon you know its going to be good

the one u are doing now is the only animal you have to draw. I do have some other stuff we need like small graphics. Mainly for money making stuff but just whenever u get a chance.

Its actually falling into place. I got 3 or 4 people doing GFX and me and co owner are doing levels (no one who is good enough will help) and then the only really needed things are scripters. We had one amazing one but he...Disappeared from internet. I think im hiring 2 new ones but its only if they want to.

Hey Ownerofbabylon PK beer lets you heal regarless of your ap, so like if you got 10ap and you need to heal bad and got enough money you can buy a pk beer and be healed, it doesnt go to your weapons list the way i have it so they cant take it anywhere and heal later its only for if they are there. Its good for in sparing areas and stuff too i guess if you wanna use that script elsewhere. I serioulsy didnt understand how to get it working for such a long time im like proud or something

here is an outside level screenshot. Its not done but I am tiling lots of levels like that and I personally like it and was wondering what you think. My style varies a lot and this is just one way.

Nice level. Although there are a few problems with it...
1. With the weed tiles, you mostly always used the predefined versoin of them! Try using the two different tiles seperatley.
2. On the path, you used just the one tile. try mixing that one with the other dirt tile. Also add a few stones to it.

Other than that, it looks really good. Great job.

Thanks man, like I said thats not the best level. I usually use atleast 3 types of dirt for trails and usually mix the grass tiles up more than that. About stone tiles I hate them so much! They are ok somtimes but I dont like them most of the time

I have just found a zip of babylon from around 9 months ago (it was worked on for 1 month). I am going to post the zip tommorow since it only consist of 78 KB!

I was hesistant to post it because it may give a bad image of babylon but I think its to funny to just keep to myself ^_^

Ok, I just want you all to know that this is not Babylon! This was Babylon about 10 months ago. It had been worked on a very short time. I am only posting it for a laugh *cuz its funny*
