Gfx card driver compatibilty

I have an NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 and I was experiencing some lag with: a lot of text on the screen, too many players on the screen, blah blah..
So i tried a series of things, and ended up rolling back my graphics card driver, which stopped graal lag but made other games have issues, so I think graal has a compatibility problem with my current driver, is there anyway I can fix it without rolling back my grapics card?

Did you have the latest drivers before you rolled back? Also, what are you full specs?
