I have plans to recreate a lot of that. A lot would have happened in the past two weeks if I hadn't had midterms. In one sense of higher quality, I've already made it a load off easier for anybody that might come along and replace me. Then of course there's still the mess of script in the control NPC that is keeping things from looking good.

Malinko: really dont understand why you are giving him a hard time for trying to do good things with an old playerworld.. when you are constantly doing anything possible (including spamming people and giving out massive ammounts of staff tools to people) in order to get people to play your crappy playerworld.

Plans to re-create is nice.

Ah, two weeks a lot could've happened? Exams do slow the process down. Though, it's been months since the NPC Server has been released on Classic, what about the "a lot" that could've happened then?

You have no idea how hard it will be to fix everything on a playerworld for NPC-Server.

It took me almost 6 months to fix Enigma back when.. and there wasnt much on there nor did I fix it all.

Classic has been around for years and years.. the time it would take to fix every little bug is astronomical at best.. and especialy if Massakore is doing it on his own, which it seems mostly.

Seriously Malinko.. people in glass houses shouldnt throw stones. Even if they are wearing Shiny PWA badges. Nufftard.

Well, a lot of overworld expansion has happened and will continue to happen. I expect myself to release the Castle Quest next week, but not before we have a new version of the Preface Quest out. I really just want to make some common-use classes for quests before I release it (ex. chest, key, door, baddy). Then I'll need to try to gather up what's been done for the Gnome Caves and start piecing it together. PKT made an awesome boss for it quite a while ago. Then I'll have to piece together Kull's. Sardon's will resemble itself a lot more than any other quest preceding it.

ps:

i like the idea of losing 100ap as soon as you hit someone.. though you should make it go back to 100 after they have stopped attacking for like 3-5 seconds (unless of course they killed someone)

Din mamma var bra i s'a'ngen.

Anywho, classic is decently fun and all but needs tons more content. Also, playerhouses should actually be more abundant and not in some random universe. That's how I think it is anyway. :o

The random universe thing happened before me, and the plan was going to be to put all player content in there.

Ok massokre you def need to either give more LAT's the ability to upload or hire a single person whos job is nothing more than uploading things players send to them. I have been trying the past 4 DAYS to get any LAT i see to upload a single hat. Everytime i ask one of the 2 LAT's who have the rights they are like "i am busy go ask other guy" then other guy is like " i am busy go ask someone else" It is absurd.

I'll give your comments to Cappa, the GFX Admin. Although, you have to understand, the GFXers have a lot of work, and we're not allowed to hire someone whose only purpose is to upload.

I mentioned this to you while you were online but you still have a flaw in the way that deaths and kills are kept track of. Sometimes if I kill someone (or if I am killed) my stats won't change. Yes I know I killed them, no it isn't a profile refreshing problem, and yes I killed them with my sword (as you don't get kills from projectiles, which I find funny). Has anyone else encountered this bug?

I know they have a lot of work which is why there should be more uploaders. Regardless if they have the rights it is part of their job to uploadd along with doing gfx

Yea, I've been talking to Cappa about needing more GFX staff altogether.
Also, the only thing that could be causing missed kills would be any kills by bombs/arrows. I already checked out my default damage system for that. Once we get into the Dev Server it really shouldn't be too difficult to reintegrate all of the systems again.

But relating to my post and your reply concerning it:
I am 110% sure that the kills I get aren't from projectiles. I am not retarded, I can keep track of how I kill an opponent. I have tried reproducing this and it has worked. If I kill the player a couple times it seems the first kill and death I receive won't count towards either side (but that is just an observation). Would be nice to test it further when I am out of jail.

I found another bug, (well I'm not entirely sure if it is a bug) and I am going to try and test it further, but that'll have to wait, I logged on to find both my accounts in jail and I have yet to hear the reason behind it.

Yea, I'm redoing the action system right now, it's a big pain.

And I keep a list of things I want from Stefan
1. Dev Server
2. PlayerEnters/LeavesMyShape event handler
3. more functionality to the shoot function.
4. Guild DB variable access (particularly rank)
5. Server specified keycodes (for things like whistle/ratings/etc).
6. findareaplayers function

Stefan says he'd probably make a findareaplayers function before he does anything like the playerEntersMyShape event handler thing (which is really crucial to damage system progress), though a findareaplayers function would be useful in the ratings and nick systems as well as the damage system.

ME TOO!!! (well, the only checking i needed here was existence, so no arrays or anything)
a coded findareaplayers function would be a lot faster than a scripted function, that's the big difference. (ie. check the performance of a script-made findareanpcs function against the findareanpcs function).
