Graal Academy Awards - '07
I think this happened in previous years, and we should do this again to support good workers and excellent projects:

Categories should be:

Best Playerworld Project
Best Level Artist
Best Coder
Best Graphics Designer
Most Favorite Graalian
Most Innovative Playerworld '07

Maybe there are more needed Categories I forgot, so please email me your categorie Ideas if you like.

Closing date for categories: Fr, 01 - 27 - 08, 3 pm gmt+1
Details for nominations will follow later

Please send founded suggestions to my email, as my graal pm box is already really full.

If anyone else wants to help me he is welcome,
iam just starting this up as noone else did so far

No nominations so far, nominations should really happen over pm or email so that it can be kept private.

Another thing:

Should Globals be excluded yes/no, otherwise all toplists will be lead by the same global staffs as always, aka Stefan, but I think we all seriously know by now that he is a genius so I think the focus should be on players.

From my experiance, this is not true. Generally, the good ones do not want to show their work in the open because they dont want it stolen.

I use to feel that way, but I've changed my way of thought.

I always kept everything I made to myself and the server I worked on. And then after I quit for the first time (lol), I decided to release stuff more. I've since released some stuff, though not as much as others. I plan to release some other stuff, but I'm too lazy to remove all the server-specific stuff. I may just post an old script backup of Sands of Glory or Utopia.

This is true. While I do sometimes release utilities or older scripts I keep my newer more server-specific stuff to myself.

Anyhow for the best coder category, I would sure like to know what you people are basing your choice off of. I doubt many agree on what makes a person a good coder, or maybe they do. *shrug*

I myself, am lazy and have an antipathy for math, so I usually will ask other people for scripts before having to make my own, when they have lots of math that is. I suppose I should learn to use cos() and sin() sometime.

I think helping others in the code section make up a great coder,
furthermore good work examples, and systems on PW which were definitly made by them.

I wouldn't say Esteria was really innovative much. I didn't really see anything there that I hadn't seen many times.

But, I guess while I'm here...

he did some nice classic-styled levels which were something "new" somehow
all this uber-detailed **** was getting too much :P
