I'm am almost positive this has been brought up before but I think it is at an appropriate time to bring it up again.
There
is a reputation system on these forums which are thoroughly explained here:
http://forums.graalonline.com/forums....php?p=1280690
I
highly suggest everyone reads this. I personally had no idea how I had gray reputation marks in my "latest reputation received" (which I knew meant neutral) got there even though there was no "neutral" option when you gave reputation!
If you do read this you will notice that you can only give reputation if your own reputation is 5 or above! This means if we aren't spreading reputation around enough, a single person could remove some one's ability to give reputation by a single bad rep.
Another thing worth noting is the formula for your
reputation power.
I calculated mine as so:
+1 ~ Base
+0 ~ 0 x 1000 reputation points (I have dismal reputation)
+6 ~ 6 years on my forum account
+0 ~ 0 x 4000 posts (4000 is quite a lot to get for a single point

)
+7 Total
Rather amazing mine is +7 when all admins get a +10 default regardless. I guess if I manage 8000 posts and 2000 reputation points, I will be able to give more reputation then an admin

.
May I make a few suggestions?
- Even if an admin were to give you all your reputation, they would need to give you positive rep 100 times in order to increase your reputation power even a single point. Maybe reduce this heave requirement?
- 4000 posts is a
huge amount. It amazes me how I get 6 points from my account time but not a single point from my post count.
- Then gem count seems to be rather flawed. I think the most gems I have seen on a person was a measly
two. Maybe reduce the rep/per gem ratio?
- People can only rep
anyone once a day. If I go give Jim rep, I can't give Mary rep until the next day. This must be a glitch?

Anyways, just pointing this out in case Ziro's signature didn't already!
EDIT:
Oh my, Crono found out an aweful glitch. I appended it to the list! (Look above)
