Grass and Tree Tiles

I'm trying to get better at pixel art, so I'm making a tileset. This is all I've done so far. It took me a while but that's fine, I need the practice
Anyway, I'm posting for opinions and for criticism on how to get better. Thanks!

Probably your tears because you're such a jerk.
He's obviously new at this, so you don't need to insult him, however subtle you think you might be.
A simple "tone down the color contrast" would have sufficed.

And to Grappler, try to make the grass less uniform also

Here's an update on the grass. I made the bright green a bit darker and I made the grass less uniform. I think it looks a lot better.

I didn't have time to put it with the tree, though, but here's the new grass!

And ahh someone needs to give this guy some worthwhile critiques and help since his grass needs a lot of work. Not even npulse/EOA standards (And they are horrid)

grass with structure is a little bit more work but its not so hard too
