[WIP]Grassy cliff

i dont really like the colors, seems really bright but Iwas inspired by "The Platformer" thread and the gfx in it. I also need to work on the cliff, just trying to figure out how i would do it.

I really like the edges of the grass.
Nice job.

That grass is pretty bright, think of playing with grass like that for a few days - you would tire of it... your eyes would literally hurt.

The rock part is pretty detailed and alot darker than the cartoony grass, which has less detail. So it sort of clashes instead of it working together to look like 1 thing.

Not too shabby Luda, grass color needs to be changed, and the cliff would like better if there was some size differences in the rocks, I think atleast.

Interesting. If you could make a few more key tiles (plain grass, sandpath, and sand/cliff tiles, etc), maybe we'll have some people put together a couple levels.

Okay I gave it a shot for grass detail (bottom tiles) just as i thought it doesnt look good. I also made some water to go with the cliffs.

Really like the water, now you must make more cliff tiles (the rest of the directions), plain water tile, sandpath tiles, sand/cliff tiles, then someone can use this for a level. Very nice job Luda.

Alright I got bored so I've decided to work on this again, even though I don't play Graal anymore. I'm going to start working on making the cliffs higher, adding water cliffs, and making water turn to to sand with those slant "thingamabobber" tiles, and yes I know the grass sucks, I'm going to work on that!

I don't care for the grass having textured details. It looks really nice with the simple-color pastel look.

i think you need to pick a solid light source and shade your cliff tiles appropriately, and not just rock by rock. Dont be afraid to pick some darker tones.

other than that i like the shaping. not bad
