new years level

Why didnt the new years level ever open? I've been anxious to see whats in it.

He's probably talking about the cave in Tanarthia that houses the fireworks.

When you walk up to the door, it doesn't let you in, and gives the message, "Only on New Years"

Weird, I opened the level before I went on the New Year's party.

But now I checked and it's closed for some unknown reason. I remember when I was in there with a few players who said they don't like it to craft the rockets. So I added another 5 rockets to the amount you get when you craft them.

I checked again. Nothing. Won't let us in. Though nothing goes in the player's favors... mostly in my favor, I say you keep it open until tonight since most of us couldn't even get in. Not only that, but it is new years day still.
What's the whole point of it if 70% of it never saw the place? What about the newbies that couldn't do the quest?

That room isn't related to the quest, it has fireworks you can set off for New Years.

I meant that everything is not newbie friendly. Every event. This firework thing is some form of event, so I think that newbies would be happy to get that for new years. Especially me. Alchemists= low magic/physical resistance.

Yes, but you cannot make the claim that this door being closed is being not newbie friendly.

If the door is closed.....nobody can get in, it's not just keeping out the lower level new players. I'm sure a lot of people would like to get in and get fireworks, (myself included).

Ugh... I'm saying that newbies have NOTHING to do, I didn't say it's blocking newbies.
Anyhow, the timezones is what mattered, and unfortunately it's europe's timezone that counts. Welcome to January 2.

It most certainly was open on New Years Eve. Stefan even made an announcement about it being open.
