theres nothing wrong with BMPs, just i think he means, they cant be viewed by IE which makes it annoying to view

Let it be known that BMPs are Evil becuase they are BIG.
THEY ARE BIG!!!! LIKE HUGE FILESIZE JUST FOR A LITTLEW IMG!!

Id rather people use web-safe gifs thant stupid stuff like RLE BMP or tha evil RAW *shudders*
