better medics

i think that medics shoulf atleast get a better weapon. medics as they are can get easily killed andcauses people to go away from medics. if a group of people rush a defender he has a chance of atleast getting a few of them before getting killed. the crossbow is not a very effective weapon and the pistols are not effective for combat. it doesn't matter if they stay back, once a team rushes you it is hard for medics to stay alive and heal people.

Yes medics dotn carry that much weaponry but should atleast have a SMG or a easyer way to switch from medic tools to pistols

Medics dont need to be good fighters, medics are like nurses, and nurses just heal those wounded. Medics are fine as they are. Maybe the medics speed should be increased, but thats the only upgrade I would find appropriate.

Not even the speed man! Medics are lame, they just camp fight and when they get low on hp they run to safety for a second, heal, then pop back out and start shooting at you. Not fun to play with them when they are camping your base. :/

I would suggest that:

The medic's speed be increased.
The heal action be altered, perhaps so that it takes longer (one usage can heal as much health as your energy would allow, but the duration is proportional to the amount healed). Or alter it so that it cannot be used on yourself if you have fired a weapon in the last thirty seconds.

apprices are really only good for close combat, and i am not saying medics should be good fighter, they should atleast have better weapons to defend themselves or better health.

i don't think that is a good suggestion, if medics can atleast get a better weapon they won't need to camp out. they would need to just to survive.

They're not supposed to be warriors, man. They're support characters.

And if you give them even more powers then they'll just be better at camping. Doesn't exactly solve the problem

Have you noticed the only medics are trials or new Gold members? They need to be increased somehow... give them more speed and maybe another support item.

Perhaps, but only in a defensive capability. One medic can keep a whole team healthy, we don't need an army of them. They don't need to be popular.

How many uses does their item allow when they are alive? 2732-ish? When they die, it get's reset, so Kai is correct in stating a medic can save an entire team. I suggest medics be given less abilities.

Medics need 1 hand to medicate. They run and heal while fighting, and then can just as quickly start using their pistols again.

Pistols? Would that not require three hands?

And yes, it is a problem that medics can heal mid-combat. My above suggestions were meant to tackle that.

once again, i did not say medics need to be good fighters, but medics suck. they don't need to be popular, but there needs to be medics. i would just like for them to have atleast ONE better weapon.

If people want to play medics, it should be as support characters. Give them lots of fancy weapons and people will just be using them as self-healing tanks.

If there aren't many altruistic players then so be it. You can't change that.

i don't want to give them a bunch of fancy weapons, i am tired of repeating myself. medics cannot heal an entire army, to heal it takes over half thier energy, it takes three hits to hael someone completely cause people will get low heath. i understand that they are support characters, the only thing i want to change is medics, not the popuarity of them.

i have this is the last time i am going to repeat myself, medics suck, they ned better weapons or armour (yes i know no other classes do). speed is not good enough because they can still get easily killed. medics should be support characters but they are barely able to defend them selves. the medic function they have is over estimated. yes they can heal in mid battle but they would only get one use and would have to wait till they get more energy. appiraces are not realy that good by themselves and would need to be double weilded, so then they can't use thier medic function. a team cannot always protect medics so they are forced to defend themselves which they have trouble doing.

speed is TOO good in my opinion. speed would enable them to run away and heal even more easily! If medics get more speed, then they would be either the fastest class, equal to commando, or faster. and spanish is still one of the most spoken languages, mostly because of the spanish colonization. even in asia people speak a spanish dialect. in south america people turned away from their native language because thats what they spoke in the major cities. also, latin is not obsolete, it is a very important language.

when i type fast i misspell stuff, and i learned to speak spanish before i learned to write it. but that is not the point, this has gotten really off topic, any other ideas of how to improve medics.and gambet, quit trying to be a know-it-all, i am just saying.
