Open Source Servers?

Just a idea but i think graal online should release a OPEN Source server so we can host are own servers and such maybe not as a classic tab but a OPENSOURCE tab or Dedicated? I think it would be nice and if it has to be maybe it can be VIP, or gold only ifnot your account is CLASSIC you will be like a trial and if your a trial you can be a ghost. Just a idea of what i think would be nice cause we could make are own server add ons and use the graal client to the full potential. If this happens it would be nice to have a LINUX,MAC,and PC. version cause LINUX are very good servers. Especialy when you have SUSE 9.4 with built in Netware so i can have a backup Graal server lol

1) Bad idea. People would easily figure out how to disable the ghost-only thing, make their own accounts, etc.
2) Stefan and Unixmad would lose all their money.
3) Hackers could own Graal by finding exploits.
4) When the desert (censored) freezes over, it will happen.

The north pole is a desert, and it's frozen over.

We make money with selling account upgrades and hosting servers, so releasing the source or release a server binary is not possible.

haha. You might as well just close this thread.

It didn't work out with graal 1.3, all it led to was to release graal 1.39 (well stolen, leaked). Then converted to windows. If they get hold of the source of it, they could probally make an exact replica of Graal. Graal would not exist as of what we know it as today.

It didn't? GraalOnline wanted to become a business, and rather than compete, they just shut down all opposing GServers.
