Question POLL! Should scamming be Illegal?

I was thinking bout all thsoe gettign scammed
And heres my thoughts!
Shouldnt those who were scammed be recompensated?
Why does staff jsut say its legal?
When you have PROOF soemone scammed you, why wont they do anything?
Why must the good people suffer due to scammers?
So vote on the poll and post your toughts plz!

What legitimate proof could you provide? PM history? That can easily be faked. Screen shots? Also easily faked. Witnesses? They could easily lie about it for a cut.

Players with malicious intent could go all day saying, "So and so scammed me. I demand retribution now!"

There are procedures set in place already by staff to make scams less of a threat. Safe trade (dragging and placing item over another player) and the tables are perfectly secure ways NOT to be victim of a scam. You take the risk of having items stolen if you try something else.

Now when it comes to people selling items for US and getting either the items stolen without payment or paying and not receiving the items, that's the player's own fault for trying something already looked down upon by staff.

That means jack ****. I could easily say that I let you barrow my gear for one hour to level up. You could say it was all a gift. How can staff determine it was a scam?

Think, please.

These are times when I wish I had my moderatorship back, but I keep telling myself "It's only a month, Stephen, it's only a month..."

You make this quite confusing. The title of the thread is, "should scamming be illegal," and the poll description is, "should scamming be legal."

So I kinda voted yes, when in fact, I mean't to choose no I guess. Confusing people. :o

Anyway, scamming should be illegal. :/

I'm thinking over half the people who quit are people who've bein scammed.
THATS the reason graal is dieing. People seem to be able to do what they want!
