Anyone here remember Everworld?

For those of you who do remember Everworld this may come as a suprise :0

I recently was forced to clean out my closet from my mom and stumbled upon a Nike Shoebox.. inside the Nike Shoebox I found a 6gb hardrive. Later on I found out the 6gb HD was my old Graal Backup file, so I've got Everworld, New Paradise, and a few other servers old levels/scripts back.

So I'm considering attempting to get Everworld up, but I'll need to find me some scripters to convert all the NPC's to the NPC Server doohickey.

If you don't know what Everworld is, it was a playerworld that made it through Aftershock's review, then Angel's review.. but Nemesis never reviewed it then the whole Buying PW's thing came out.. so yeah.

Good to see you got it back. I lost my copy of it a while ago or I just can't find it on my computer. It's all a mess.

Malinko works everywhere

and PS is Global, so he would probably help out security wise, but it dosent seem logical to expect him to help with a full server conversion

If it came down to it Arc was last owner. Everworld passed both reviews (Aftershock and Angel) under his management. Me and joker quit on the project back in 2001 and I allowed Arc to continue with the poject. I only helped Arc with some NPCs just before he submitted to be reviewed.

That wasn't the true Everworld though. That was "Joker had some of the levels so hey why not upload it?"

The whole server will need to be completely re-done. The EW is too low quality for it to pass, same with the scripts and such. Its almost not even worth bringing back, since you will need to remake each level anyway. And since I worked on the levels a long time ago, I have a say in this.

er, well, it just doesn't seem to be worth the trouble, you'd have to redo practically the entire map to make it decent, and redo all the scripts? peh, yeah that's a task worthy of undertaking

I work everywhere James? I think I like to help people =). And plus, PS owns me in scripting, and so does half of Graal >_>. Everworld, I remember that place, was pretty fun. But so was Elven Lands, and if you had the old EL back up, it would be kinda odd O_o.

I remember Everworld infact if you recall I lent you a Forum for awhile, but back on subject, you really need to do some serious updating on those levels if you expect it to pass the PWA standards of today.Remember I have seen those levels way back when.
