Automatic Detail Thingy :O

I just thought this could speed up the long and drawn out process of detailing levels...obviously it wouldn't look quite as good as normal levels, but it would be close. My idea is that there should be a tool in the level editor where you choose a tile, and you select an area in the level, and you put in the % of what tiles (default is the plain green tile) you want filled in with what you select. Then it would go through the selected area and "detail" that percentage of the green tiles, or whatever else, with the selected tile.

I just think it would be really useful o.O...

It's been done before, and I think I still have the old program.

Flash, you can just make a custom object with detail and right click... although it'll look pretty bad ...

Doing levels by hand is better than doing it with generators.

Where is this NPC? It's hard to find it manually but I'll look..

and if it doesn't work very well..then it probably wasn't made right

I see, it being all made my npc would be no fun, or you wouldn't get more practice at detailing. Then you wouldn't have a style. If you wanna be a lat you gotta have style son.
Bad idea.

Hey, I'm not bad at making levels o.O...I was just wondering because I'm really slow at it lol. And timewise I'm lazy :O..I guess I'll do it the slow, painstaking way XD.
