Server Reset

I think its needed to post something like that.
Kingdom currently sucks.
20% is 1337 and got far because of random alchemy items or events items which weren't supposed to be given out (inferno swords, hammers and and and).
80% is poor and really works hard to become as good like 1337 players.
So iam asking each of you: Do you think Kingdoms should be resetted?
If many many people will post yes perhaps stefan will reset kingdoms.

Well i think not, but currently im still waiting for stefan to restore my account, resetting the server isnt a good idea. Why? Most people are above level 5 and spend lots of time crafting etc. im sure they will be as good as anyone soon.

No, I say no because I never got "1337 items" like everyone else. See, I quit, a while ago, left with only my Inferno sword (oh, 10 damage, big whoop, that makes no difference from a +9 weapon.) and sucky gold plate mail and silver warrior helm. With that stuff, I killed Rexes, made money, and got stronger equipment. Currently, I'm level 21 (almost level 22) with a strong weapon. If I can do that, anyone can.

I say yes. Kingdoms should be reset so all the "uberl33t" people can have a taste of what being level 6 with nothing but a lot of bad rings and a blood sabre of ogma +2 is like, and can't make money or exp whatsoever. :[

No. The server isnt balanced and finished yet... there is no way to test all level ranges for bugs if there are no high level people...

Yes, reset after server is finished 100% and bugs worked out and game is balanced. Only people who should be saying no are ones that dont want to give up overpowered event items and ppl that have abused the well known bugs.

Well, this is Graal, it should never be "finished". It should be constantly updating. Once the bugs are worked out and the game is balanced, and there is enough updates to change it from a "server" to a "game", then we should reset. :grin:

There will be a new server once GK is compleate, the current one with everyone's characters will still be accessable, and you will create new ones on the compleated server, hopefully everyone will migrate over to the new one and the old one can be deleted over time.

Heh if 80% is under lvl 6 then you can bet where there gonna go (new server) and other 20% will be all alone, well sorta. I'll be on the new one and I will buy a new account for it. Muahahha *twiddles thumbs waiting for staffers to finish 2k2*

I'd suggest that the people can keep some things when switching, but not all the items of course...

Someone would somehow sneak alchemy or bugged items in the new server.

If they will make a new server, nothing from the old one should carry over.

All you that have never been over level 10 don't realize... It doesn't seem to be a big thing losing everything... but when your someone with 1000 hours and developed beyond most other players and you lose it all... it's enough to hurt...

and don't any of you dare criticzise me... saying that I don't understand... or that I should shut up... because I do understand... and know exactly what you all go through... I've been in your positions before...

The server should NOT be reset until it is balanced enough to do so... as of now... I'm assuming all the classes are incomplete... many many areas are incomplete... and quests are not even near completion...

Also from what I hear... when the server is balanced enough... a new one will be released and there will be two Graal Kingdoms servers... one being a brand spanking new start... and the other being the one we have now after a few months...

If I stated a true error... feel welcome to point it out...

I agree with Nuke, come on, i use to say OMG reset the server it sucks all the strong people get everything...Come on i was level what 6 when i said that, i worked my a§ off and now im level 12, almost every skill, and alot of spells, work hard, you will get to be high level, level 12 aint much, but hey im glad i got there.

No not yet, Kingdoms needs to be finished* before there should be a reset, but it does need one once it is.

*By finished I mean once it's all balanced, all the towns are there, monsters, spells, ect, IOW, once it's out of beta. Graal servers are never finished, just like websites, but it need to get out of heavy construction first.

Ohhh you think your just going to come on the server or any game and expect to be the best in a week? It took me alot longer than a week or two to be the best. I was once a miner getting iron, with bad rings and i didn't even have a blood sabre. I know what it feels like and I did something about it and got good. You want a reset because people are better than you? Well I'd say thats quite lame. Anyone that is good and worked hard to become leet didnt work that hard to just get all their time reset in a moment of seconds.

I think its wonderful that everyone wants a reset mainly out of hatred for people with better things then them. "Omg I'm not as powerful as him, I don't wanna work to get to his level, so maybe if I protest to have him reset to my level". Don't think that all the powerful people always had everything, we all started from the level you did. I see a lot of the tension is due to the "uber" alchemy armour, I have already cast off mine. But if you have an issue with it, take it up with Stefan who SUPPOSEDLY was supposed to remove it, but I guess tricked us all.

No reset. I've worked hard to get to where I am, I don't feel like everything should just be reset because of a couple strong players. I think it just needs to ride out until the new server is up, because of the random alchemy item thing, it's true a group of players got incredibly strong because of it.

But that's the breaks, I don't think it's worth resetting thousands of hours of player work just so everyone is level 1 again. God, I don't even want to imagine having to start from scratch with nothing and having to go do mediocre jobs like mining and crafting just to get back the stuff I already had the day before.

A reset would be lovely, however the remaining fact is that there is still no real gameplay for Graal Kingdoms. Untill then pretty much just gotta wait.

I would've gotten just as rich without alchemy armor, heck, chances are, I would have gotten just as strong without it.
