anti-pause bug.

if someone is paused, and is not fully healed, it is possible to force them to unpause by giving the paused person a heart. i have tested this, and it works. maybe a fix in the next version?

agreed, but it is too late in graal's beta to take out the pause feature.

KILL pausing. It's too easy to use. It's almost like giving everyone GP Boots or something, but because we're all used to it we don't think of it like that. If you don't want to die, you should find water or something.

I've noticed that whenever you gain health, you unpause. The same goes for beds as well.

Making a unpause command and a playerispaused flag that way in some servers if wanted the could prevent pausing or put a limit on pausing time.

pausing is good if you are AWAY. I mean, who wants to be killed when they're off picking their nose somewhere?

I think pausing is bad, cause if your pking someone, and they pause at .5 hearts and use unstick me. Well, there supposed to die if the die, or else it wont be no fun. AND they can just go in water for and afk....

there is no way to assure there will be no abuse of it unless you are in water or a noplayerkilling level

just let it work in noplayerkilling levels

sometimes, you cant get to a non-PK level in time
and say all i had to do was bring out the garbage? theres no point of me logging off only to come back 1 min later to reconnect. Plus, if i stayed on, i wouldnt want to be killed.

anyway, the thing is, there is no point to log off and then log on 1 minute later. Especially when you have 3 other people in the house that are so eager to get on the comp that if they see graal no running, they jump at the chance to get on.
And how is it for people that dont log off for a minute ruin graal? I got my graal running basically all the time and i dont go around PKing, or getting cash or whatever. I surf the forums. But I do check my graal about every 30 seconds for PMs. And I respond to them if necessary.

i used to be #8 PKer when PK tags still existed, i could pause for 5 minutes and have no more PK tag...

once i thought that was cool, its not, its abuse.

perhaps being in a huse or on souther end of mt antora? (examples) where there are no nonPKing zones or water

Well this situation looks normal. Considering theres ups and downs for absolutly everything that happens etc. But this pausing bug (gettting back to topic) has been around for a long time. On classic when I just started 1.3 or somewhere, when you went in a bed to get some health, it unpaused you. (I was PKed 3 times cause of this) but I dont know about dropping a hear on someone. I think thats unique to p2p servers.

i think its on all servers..because its program coding (correct me if im wrong)

pausing has been around for as long as i can remember...and abuse of it has too, not suprisingly

but some ways of abuse are
1: Pausing for a long period of time 10 - 20 mins just to get online time, sorta like idling
2: Raising AP, because they're prone to PKing so the have to hold themselves from doing it.
