eXodia Update

Hi, I haven't posted in a while so I thought i'd update you on exodia. Things are going great, we will submit the pw very soon. It would have been sent in sooner but I lost alot of scripts at Christmas (comp died :/).

Heres a screenie of some new house tiles made by DarK

Dont mind the level, I just stuck it together, this post is about the tiles, k?

Also, I know there might be some confusion between those trees. A while ago glubglub made em, and gave them to snakeandy (for exodia) but im not sure if he's making a server with those trees. If he is then, i guess i better get some new trees. Anyway ther are more tiles under development so i'll post back later

Don't listen to him. I would suggest everyone basically ignore him for a bit...

The house is great. Mayb a few depth lines need to be added but other than that its good.

The trees are to bright for me but other people may like them.

Could you show us any development stuff of yours?
Levels, gfx, NPCs etc.
You seem to act as though you are great at everything so proove it.

Anyways everything looks great besides the roof tiles.
They're easily fixed though.
The solid colour one just add the corner shading part (like the current house graphics have).
But the other one I'm not so sure how to fix.
Could be a little more difficult.

I will have to agree with this although its nice there is no depth of field which makes it look flat and 2D. I concur with the person who said to add some shading and depth lines , this will enchance the house greatly.

yes i am so great, and you will see it all in good time. Also i mentioned that I lost alot of scripts at Christmas. Im working on several things at the minute, one of these is the pet/creature system. I dont really know what to call it because it isn't a pet as such. The idea is, there are these 'creatures' roaming around, each with different stats. (exp, type etc). type being dark/light. Whereas dark can cast black magic spells and light can cast white magic spells (healing etc). Once you aquire one of these, you are able to summon them to help you in battle, they have hitpoints and they level up, learning new spells. (You can also teach them stuff). Thats the basic idea for now, and thanx for the positive comments ^_^

did glub glub give you permission to use those trees? He made almost an entire new tileset for Suburbana, and they were part of it. I was levels admin there for awhile, im not sure if hes still working on the project or not though.

OH YEAH, now i remmember, i think it was glub glubs tiles, im not so sure, im maibe misstaken but ive seen that trees on Tritan, if not i guess glub glubs server.

yes, it is glubglubs tileset. What happened was, he made the tiles (tree, house tiles) and gave it to snakeandy to use on eXodia. Now hes starting his server with them, but his new tileset (for his server) has alot more on, so Im not sure if hes just gonna not use the tree and 1housetile set. I'll have to talk to him, anyway heres another screenshot of the tileset. (I made the grass...yay). And the lamps are new

P.S thats rudoras map (not exodias), we're testing on there =p

well, its on a private server, rudora is kindly letting us have testing space. When its near completion, we will send it it hopefully to get its own private server.

What we have sent in:

-Levels
-GFX
-Script ideas

If you read Nems post then you would know you are allowed to send in the levels (if completed), also script ideas (txt file). Its a good idea because its more logical. You can do the levels offline, then you get a 2-4 week period to develop the scripts. But.. If you don't finish the ideas (of scripts) included in the text file then you pw goes bye bye

But we should be online (public) within the 2-4 week period. (thats if we get up !)
