Plus Effects?

Does anyone know the exact effects that the +1 gives on an item?

An example would be "Ebony Bow of Bile +1"

Improve Weapon Damage won't add a plus to a weapon, it just adds 5 damage.

No actually I figured out what it does to armor, give it +1 to armor class

Correct, on armour it gives 1 ac and 1 armour
On weapons it gives 1 wc and 1 damage
