This seems to annoying alot of people, but take notice that you are on a PW with strick RP rules not like others, most people who go on and get banned dont know how to RP that much so see them selves getting banned, This case its a bit silly, but rules are rules and you should stick by them, maybe next time stick by them but report it to Nem who can sort it out for you before you wear the head, that way... your not banned!

Last night my brother went on, his accountname is Sky, and his graal nickname is sky, thus making his name *Sky, and they threatend to ban him if he didnt change it, now tell me, how does that interfear with RPing? It doesnt, all i know is that Val should be punished for some of the stupid things that they do on that server.

Well things like that need to be stopped, but alot of people complain about names, and rules are rules. And I dont think you can have * only letters in name, which is fair enough.

Well thats the name of his account. If thats his account name and the nick he uses that pretty much don't have a right for him to change it or ban him. He made that account so people would know its him. The staff on val are *****s.. (not all of them, just some.)

Uh, hello? No matter how ridiculous the rule might seem, it is a rule, and if you choose to not listen to them, and then get banned, don't complain about it here. Not all playerworlds are the same. Maybe you're not supposed to use a head that someone else is using, I don't know, but whatever the case is, defying them because you think the rule is stupid isn't the right way to handle the situation.

If they give you fair warning that you're breaking a rule, and you just sit around and continue breaking it, then it's your fault and not theirs.

Anyway, he was banned for having the same head as the owner, no other reason.
Most of their staff will ban you for having a non-rp name, thats fine. But not having the same head without a reason to not have it on.
Vals levels are horrible and even the new ones I saw are horrible. I think its time for val to go.

Uhh what if Im new to the game and all of the sudden Im banned for my nick as like " Goku"? How would I know that it was illegal to have that name. And even if the staff did warn.. how would a new player know to check pms? I didn't learn about pms until a few weeks after I started playing graal. And some new people might not even know what GPs are.. So they need to figure out a way to enforce the rules without being complete idiots about it and consider new people as well. And its a friggen head he used. Thats not in the rules of that server. I've read the rules they have on Val and its not there.. He should be unbanned.

I got on and my name was Justin (my real name) I never played Val before, 1 minute after I was on I was banned. I got ahold of high staff and I told him so he unbanned me. Its there rules and they should be followed no matter what like Konidias said, but they do need a better way of telling people other then assuming they already know.

I must agree, back when i was a bit um rebellious i went on val with my nick as it always is *Tifa*

The RP Admin came on and sent masses to say anyone he pm'd would be told to change their nicks because it was illegal.
Well i received a pm asking me to change my nick, to which i replied *why should i, i have this nick everywhere?*
He told me i had to the count of 10 to change my nick.
So i logged off on 9

I do agree with Konidias. Despite how stupid their rules are, that should give you no means to blatantly linger around and continue to break their rules. If you don’t like how things are ran, simply don’t play that on that player world. However, if you feel like you were unjustly treated and you have legitimate proof of corrupt staff action, take it to a higher authority of that player world. If you cannot contact such a person, get in touch with Nemesis via Forum PM. We don’t need this forum filled with complaints about player world staff.

I was almost banned for having the name *Lyndzey when I logged on. They warned me and told me if I didn't reply back or change my name in 30 seconds, I would be banned.

How can you stand by their rules? Its kind of stupid to ban a new person because their name is like Goku or something. I know when I started graal I didn't know a thing about PMs and staff and whatnot. There should be message as soon as you log on to Val that explains the rules and what new players should do. Not just have some ignorant staff ban a player because of their nick and they had no clue they did anything wrong. That will just give graal a bad name.. "Hey I played graal today and got banned for using my real name,... Don't play it!!" Now I doubt stefan or unixmad want people not to play graal because of staff giving out bans left and right for simple things like that.

Like I said, then Koni confirmed a rule is a rule, if you don't like the rule and get annyoed by it then don't play, if you think the server is corrupt don't play, if you think the server is stupid don't play, try another less popular server you may like it, or join a populated one. But if you don't like something, dont do it.

You should have left you name but the banning is stupid. I mean come on, thats you're name and account name.. They have no control on what name you want to use. So they should not have even threatened you with it. I know if I saw a global on I wouldn't be stupid enough to ban them. Only someone that is a little to ban happy would do that.

And I know its the rules like Koni said and Spark said. But think about it. You want people to start thinking graal is a game where the staff bans you because you didn't know the rules? That will give graal a bad name.

They don't allow * names, guild tags, unknown names, any copyright names, and names such as Lyndzey that don't fit.

I broke the rule of * and having my name as Lyndzey because it was RP enough.

Another time when I went on, my name was Empress Rinko Alaster because I just switched from 2002. They sent me a PM before I had time to change my name that was like "change your name or be banned"

There is some stupidass peice of script in their system NPC that sends you to banned.graal if you have Virtue's head. Someone told me to put it on once, and I didn't know any better. I spent the next 2 days trying to get out. What a waste of time.

The problem with that is, someone who doesnt play there, or has never played there, might go on and put on a head that isnt allowed..Is it posted anywhere what heads NOT to use?

It's pretty stupid to effectively ban the player just for setting a particular head. If they can't script something that gives the player fair warning or sets the head back normally then they shouldn't even be online.

I went on there last night and asked how we would know what heads not to use, and the gp chief told me that we just couldnt use any heads that started with someones nick...lol, they also told me that I had 3 minutes to change my nick because I had it like this: MoOn GoDDeSs, which is against the rules

They didn't say anything to me when I had my name as *AlexH, aLeXh or any of the other random letters I had.
I'm quite disapointed to say the least.
