Shops

Ah just an idea how to make shops...
Ther are shop flags right same as house ones except theses ones make shops with 2 rooms... storage and the room with the tables. Now you drop items in the room with the tables and it occupies a spot on one of the tables. Then a window appears much like the player to player strading system. You select the amount you want too sell one for then the amount you are putting on the bench. Then when someone wants to buy it, they grab it and it comes up with another window(like the player trade system) and shows the price and asks how much the person would like to buy from the current stock in the storage room.

Just my idea

Sounds like a great idea, it could just be like normal shops where you click the item to see what it is and how much, then you pick it up to buy it.

I assume when they are added it will almost be an exact copy of the market stands on Graal Bomy Moon.
Don't see why a new system would be scripted when that's what it basically will be.
A few adjusments will probally need to be made though.

I can just see some idiot comming on late at night, and going around to all the playershops and burning them

Only one problem with this...their would almost always have useless junk on the tables...

hehe, not a few adjusments, 2k2's item system is as different as it could possibly be from 2k1's

I do not want item stands like those from BM. I didn't like them .. I also didn't like how you couldn't sell anything there unless it was some rare item that you're selling for less than you paid for it...

Market stands are up now, also will add house deeds (once we have time) which can turn your house in a regular shop so you don't need to rent the market stands. You can sell a big quantity of items (e.g. 50 boards for 10 plats) and similar things.
