setzoomeffect makes it smaller/bigger

setcoloreffect 0,0,0; thats how it goes just replace the zeros with how mucg of the color and the color(s) you want

seteffect is just like setbackpal. only difference is with seteffect you can do a whole lot more and it won't make your levels retarded looking if you have a different tileset.

Example, if you want to make a level look dark you can put
seteffect 0,0,0,.2;
The level will look about the same as setbackpal dusk2.png
What makes this better is that if you look at the map for the level it won't darken the map for the area you're in. With setbackpal it darkens to map.

seteffect red, green, blue, alpha;

so if ya want a kind of reddish level you can just change the green and blue part to 0. Whatever shade of red depends on the number you put for red and alpha.

Simple is that. Experiment with it and you'll have lots of fun making some of your levels look nicer.

Oh yeah and you're not just limited to red, green, and blue. You can combine them to make other colors as well just like in art when you mix red and blue you get purple.
