Whats all this hp n mp n stuff?

Since i ummm dont use the forums that much i was just wondering what all the Hp, MP, Exp, rating n all that is for on the side???

the more you post, the higher it goes, and the chances of you discovering a social life become less likely with each gained level. Sad but true.
