He may have a rough idea but he doesn't know.
They could find some huge bug that stops them releasing it.

If it comes out today great. But why would stefan come on 2k1 besides to announce its release. Espcially with the name debugging. Meaning he is fixing something on 2k1. If he was debugging 2k2 wouldnt he be on there.

He is probably debugging on the new version to make sure it still works on g2k1 and g2k2 just fine
