Loading a gmap offline

Ok, I have this gmap, loaded on my server, it works fine. However when I am trying to edit it offline, I only get one level at a time. Also, I tried loadmap, and I have a 10x10 gmap but it still loads only one level at a time. Also, if you press M, it pulls up a map of all levels in a vertical chain, so walking left to right warps you to a level above or below you on the ingame map.

well, you need to creat a text document in the graal folder named:loadgmaps
write in there the name of the gmap
for example my gmap is called ctf.gmap
write in there ctf
and open 1 level(you only need to have 1 in your folder
usually it should work

well you need the gmap in the maps folder

Also should mention restarting the editor after this but it works. Thank you!

Seriously, this should be in the tutorial sticky...

verry nice... sad to see so many things must come from community, considering we pay for it and there's no decent uptodate info/tutorials anyway.. all my signs are copy'd from the map i opened to every map in gmap.

and how could we make sure where the links should be, as we don't see the edges of 1 map.

Fantastic advice, I'm happy to not see the overused "use loadmap" advice.

I think I fail to see the sence of the sentences.
Is this a minded nice or sarcasm?

It's not sarcasm. Loadmap is a deprecated command, yet many scripters still recommend people use it to load maps.
