New Iricia First look

I have been working last few days on this.

Added: 4 new bunkers
two snipers nest
defensive turrets to each spawn base
extended how the two spawn bases and b1 look
made sweep base area smaller
reshaped near b4 so bikes could pass easier.

Have to readd: boxes. I won't put as many but there will be enough in each bunker for ppl to enjoy.

will put up 7 screenies.

thoughts..concerns.

The future of zone is on Ravenbalde's maps , but not with account because he have been bannin 1 million of accounts.

Umm Snipers Nest doesnt really look like one. And also maybe put the doors to the wall in the bunkers, they dont look good in the wall..

Hmmm. The tiles are messed up in the shot of that bunker (2nd shot from the left). The entrance is messed up at least.
The snow around the snipers nest picture you posted looks really "liney"
You said those turrets are for defending the bases but they look like a great place to lame from. Could you open the levels and press M and then post the overall progress?

Also why do you add turrets/bunkers to every base? It is just going to turn into a lame fest and I thought you were the one that was very concerned about the terrible problem of base laming..

Oh and are you going to use the space above sweep fleets home base?

And bikes are being added by base 3 and base 4?

Boxes should not spawn until the one that was moved is destroyed.

Wow.. will have to seriously think, should I put this box here, and put the other 3 here, to guard my entire base? Or should I.. whoops accidentally pressed A, oh well not like it mattered. (Think seriously, 4 boxes to guard an entire base?)

You don't understand how it works, you need to actually play the game before you try and find a solution, research the problem.

Update: Added two more bunkers. Those supposed snipers nest serve as a enterance into the two new bunkers. Took out turret from b1.

Will work on: Tiles issue (see if i can get it looking good).

I mean logically, what do you think would be better, improving a existing planet no one uses (so if it turns out bad, it won't have a massive effect), or trying to change a planet that is the center of Zone, and if it turns out bad, will implode Zone, and make it lose its players?

Raven, you have a good idea, but I am just not seeing it work out. Iricia is fine as it is, and your "New Iricia" is not looking good. I mean Logically, I think you should refurbish an old planet such as CTF, Koth, Alpha, ect., instead of trying to improve a planet that is fine as it is. The main reason being is if your "New Iricia" is uploaded and it sucks, Zone will lose alot of players, as Iricia is the heart of Zone, and is what brings in most of the player count usually. (Besides Events)

And in-case you ask, whats wrong with it...

Tiles, Look like Squares, around much of the levels you edited
Useless Levels added, Such as room with all the weapons?
"Mini Bunkers" don't really have a purpose at all, and the door in the wall looks horrible
"Snipers Nest" warps, are useless, and also destroyed a Bike Spawn for Storm
Extensions to main base, seem oblong, and out-of-place, and also seem to ruin the base as it allows the enemy to corner in players now
All the torrents will go to waste, as no on uses them on the other planets, also the torrents will increase base laming as the other team can take them and use them.

I agree with Desear.
Raven, you have the best intentions of improving Iricia and I know this is only a first look however, what I have seen has been enough to dissuade me that wanting Iricia to be changed for any reason regardless of the new features that could be enabled.
