Can you make transparent images with Corel Photo-Paint?

Uhm, Paint.NET

With Paint.NET I just use
Magic Wand -> selects -> eraser (The eraser transes)

You could try programs like Giffy if you don't like Paint.NET,
or wait for another suggestions or an answer for your question

wait I use paint.net but I can only save images in .gif
not in .png
it should be possible to trans .pngs!
