Flying System ( how it effects us)

the flying system is amazing.
But this is a big big problem for our ships as the bombs the balloons drop could potentially wipe out our fleet.

If this state of emergency is true the Tornado Squadron will transform.
I have wished for this to happen in a long time and the squadron will become an airborn division for the kingdom.
Of course we will keep some ships but we will recruit extra members as "pilots"
Although it is too soon to say i'm just letting you know incase it happens *fingers crossed*

Do not fear fellow pirates.
You may be amazed but i actually am a better pilot than a sailor.
Every air game i played i came out top too.
So graal shouldn't not be really any different.

My ship the Tornado is actually named after a famous Bombing Aircraft the Tornado.
Once the flying system is released i won't be seen on the seas often.
Instead i'll be in the sky raiding other aircraft and pestering ships.

I'll probably have to come up with a new ship name now hehe.

Although i seen only bombs deployed i think magic such as a fire spell may damage them in flight causing big dogfights and so on.
Is this happens this would be absoloutely incredible.
War would be so fun we'd be having world wars hehe.

The plan is to also add an "up-view" where you basicly see the blue sky, the sun and the balloons above you. Then you can try to shoot them with bow, may be you can also see the cannon and aim on balloons?

I hope the arrows and cannons can fall back down... so if you aim straight up and shoot and miss you're doomed Or so someone who is walking will get a unsuspecting ARROW WOUND to the head

This will take kingdom combat to new heights. There will be new divisions but watch out because there will be lamers trying to kill ppl from above. For every good idea there is a bad one.

One question Stefan...will they be coal or wood powered?

I see what's happened here. Rather than truly making a k-mode, we're just going to advance kingdoms to the point where hand to hand combat will just disappear entirely. Ship and air battles will essentially be the basis for battle, thus evening the playing field.

Better than nothing, I suppose.

I'm so excited over all this.
You all can cause a mass war if you want! war will be very fun!

Anyways i don't doubt for a second that all kingdoms probably will war, because war with these little toys will be pretty fun indeed.

Also stefan, a look up view would be immense!
it would be really cool, so basically your land units can defend castles by shooting at them.

Also i really hope spells can harm balloons or arrows at least.
There dogfighting can take place.

If you want to be really cool, let the players fall from baloons when they destroyed and make them die when they hit floor, i think it be funny watching players fall from the sky.

Does this mean pirates will actually live up to their names as kings of ship fighting? Because when I was a newbie in Samurai or whatever I ran into a pirate ship and stole tons of cannon balls and ran away.

Some "pirates" rofl

We are kings of the seas its jsut nobody really challenges us on the seas now.
Its quite upsetting.
Hopefully with these balloons more people will be encouraged to challenge the mighty Cp fleet.

Now with the baloons no one will ever challange us to sea battle again. Which is an even bigger upset. I'd rather use my boat than an air baloon, no doubt boat battle takes more skill and Pirates belong on the sea, not in the air. I will use a baloon but I'm still going to have boat battles as my main source of battling.

As a Zormi and a pirate, I assure you, I will always be willing to battle by sea. That is where the Zormi and Pirates alike belong. Don't fear for the lack of sailing competition. Raelyn is here.

I actually disagree.
I think with balloons more peop,e will challenge the fleet.
Afterall a land soldier cannot attack a ship at sea from the ground and they're too scared to battle us on a ship.
I think if there was an event to sink our fleet we'd have participants with the balloons.

Well as I see it you can have both fleets still. Sea and Air...that way truly epic battles can take place.

It's quite possible.

Of course, there were no engines yet, so the oars went through the hull at leather gaskets. He took the first trip with 12 oarsmen in the Thames River - staying submerged for 3 hours.

The first submarine used for military purposes was built in 1776 by David Bushnell (1742-1824) of the US. His "Turtle" was a one-man, wooden submarine powered by hand-turned propellers. The Turtle worked well but the explosives did not.
